If anything terminating it at Broadway makes stand space more tight. 5 routes now terminate there (E1, 2, 3, 6 and 11) and there is only 5 stands avaliable with high freq. routes probably taking up more. EDIT: Also, E6 tiles are still up all the way until Greenford Station and the same story from Greenford Station down to Broadway.

I think that move has been made permanent. No idea why I don’t think that it has as there are still E6 tiles on the bus stops after Greenford Broadway. My best guess would be that works are on and off. 395 and 92 still don't track on iBus to Greenford Station so who knows?

I've seen a few 105s stand there, not sure why. They also sometimes stand opposite the 395 at Westway Cross

Also where's Norman Road? Southern end is just west of Greenwich Station, northern end it meets Creek Road near Waitrose New Capital Quay. Oh right, that one. Escaped my mind for a bit, as I don't use 188/199 much.

New TfL route idea
Route 348: Watford Junction to West Ruislip via Bushey, Carpenders Park, Northwood and Ruislip High Street.
I'm not sure how to include photos of its routing however my idea was that it would run from West Ruislip Station to Ruislip High Street via Brickwall Lane, via the H13 from there until Reservoir Road, up the 331 to Northwood Station and then via current route 328 to Watford, however the new route would run directly from Northwick Road to Hayling Road instead of diverting and going around the loops in Oxhey.
Carousel buses routes 346 and 346A already serve those loops and retain a connection to Watford and the new route 348 would provide a faster (and maybe more frequent) connection to Watford from areas like Northwood. This route would also extend down to Ruislip to support the 331 (and by avoiding certain parts of the 331) would provide a slightly faster service from Northwood to Ruislip. Yes, I know it's not a particularly busy section of it however it can get busy between Ruislip Lido and Ruislip High Street hence why I think extending it down there would work. The reason I say it should stand at West Ruislip is due to the problem with stands at Ruislip Station, and West Ruislip is not too far from Ruislip itself. Watford currently only has routes 142 and 258 which do mirror each other a little which is why I think it could do with a little more variety.
What do you guys think of this?

Don't have any comments on the route itself but TfL wouldn't implement such a link as it currently has an allergic reaction to new cross border routes (and yes, I'm aware the 324 was extended into Hertfordshire, only because it was the next convenient place to stand

Watford is also outside the Greater London area and Hertfordshire County Council no longer supports TfL routes financially. Historically the 142 and 258 were Central Area (red bus) routes and still run to Watford as there is still a strong financial case for doing so. Hertfordshire already supports the existing 328 between Watford and Northwood, it is very unlikely that they would support a second service covering pretty much the same territory.

I think if an addition TFL route to Watford were to be introduced, it should ideally go via Carpenders Park, but then continue south to create new links to Hatch End and Pinner. But while a route on this corridor would be useful, I can't see TFL ever funding it with the Overground already linking Watford, Carpenders Park and Hatch End (with Hatch End then having the H12 to connect to the Pinner area). I expect part of the reason why the 142 and 258 are still funded by TFL may also be because a large part of Bushey is not in walking distance of a train station - therefore attracts a lot of passengers as this is their only public transport option. Also encourages some passengers from Watford/Bushey to use the bus to connect to other stations like Stanmore, contributing to use of the tube here.

To be fair with the 324, it was only a 5or6 stop extension

Given that TfL wanted to cut the 258 out of Watford back to Bushey a while ago I think it’s safe to say they don’t want to have another TfL bus route going to Watford.

There was the route 350 from Watford to Harrow via Carpenders Park. www.londonbuses.co.uk/_routes/withdrawn/350.html I think it was withdrawn as not well used IIRC. Obviously from a different time in terms of finances and cross-border arrangements so highly unlikely now.

Obviously from a different time in terms of finances and cross-border arrangements so highly unlikely now. IIRC the 350 had a London Local Service Agreement as it was the only bus along much of Headstone Lane and Oxhey Lane. The operator would charge TfL fares within Greater London and would be reimbursed for accepting TfL passes and permits. Herfordshire funded the section outside London as the 350 provided the only bus service through the Carpenders Park estate. The route was withdrawn after 24th March 2006 and replaced within London by circular routes H18/H19, which were created by extending the existing H18 back round to Harrow via Headstone Lane. Hertfordshire made alternative arrangements to link Carpenders Park with Watford, I seem to recall there was an hourly W50 operated by Red Rose which may have started at this time.
