New TfL route idea Route 348: Watford Junction to West Ruislip via Bushey, Carpenders Park, Northwood and Ruislip High Street. I'm not sure how to include photos of its routing however my idea was that it would run from West Ruislip Station to Ruislip High Street via Brickwall Lane, via the H13 from there until Reservoir Road, up the 331 to Northwood Station and then via current route 328 to Watford, however the new route would run directly from Northwick Road to Hayling Road instead of diverting and going around the loops in Oxhey. Carousel buses routes 346 and 346A already serve those loops and retain a connection to Watford and the new route 348 would provide a faster (and maybe more frequent) connection to Watford from areas like Northwood. This route would also extend down to Ruislip to support the 331 (and by avoiding certain parts of the 331) would provide a slightly faster service from Northwood to Ruislip. Yes, I know it's not a particularly busy section of it however it can get busy between Ruislip Lido and Ruislip High Street hence why I think extending it down there would work. The reason I say it should stand at West Ruislip is due to the problem with stands at Ruislip Station, and West Ruislip is not too far from Ruislip itself. Watford currently only has routes 142 and 258 which do mirror each other a little which is why I think it could do with a little more variety. What do you guys think of this? There was the route 350 from Watford to Harrow via Carpenders Park. www.londonbuses.co.uk/_routes/withdrawn/350.html I think it was withdrawn as not well used IIRC. Obviously from a different time in terms of finances and cross-border arrangements so highly unlikely now. In the days when cash fares were more normal and Freedom passes were used a by a few old ladies, there was more of an opportunity for commercial operations like with the 35x series in the Bromley area aswell.

The 105s haven’t returned to their old stands at Greenford Station any 105s that are at their old stands are not supposed to be there as the stand is closed. I've seen a few 105s stand there, not sure why. They also sometimes stand opposite the 395 at Westway Cross Well the 105s aren’t really supposed to be there as the stand is closed they are supposed to stand at Westway Cross where a temporary stand is located.

4: Withdrawn Mansion House to Blackfriars and diverted via 17 to London Bridge. 17: Rerouted between Holborn Viaduct and Monument via 133. 133: Withdrawn Monument to Holborn and diverted via 344 to Liverpool Street. 344: Revised at Southwark Street to operate via Southwark Street and London Bridge in both directions, then via Cannon Street and 4 to Blackfriars.
Takes out excessive overlap on the 59/133, and while no longer serving Southwark Bridge, ensures the 344 stops near to its northern end in both directions.

Route 187 withdrawn between Finchley Road 02 Centre and Swiss Cottage and Merge it with 268 and same time make 187 finish at Park Royal ASDA So 187 would be a Golders Green to Park Royal ASDA and same time convert the 603 to a daily route and extend to Finchley Road 02 Centre

Whilst popular it is really only useful for alighting and completely useless for boarding. In the nearly 20 years it’s existed I’ve only ever seen 1 person board there. Alternatively a new stand could be installed on Wimbledon Bridge where the motorcycle stands are and where the tennis buses will board/alight.

Tbh, It isn't particularly common but I have seen people board there especially people who are disabled or the elderly

Hampstead area structure idea:
C11 Rerouted to provide a direct Hampstead-Highgate link (as well as other new links such as Hampstead to West Hampstead). From Brent Cross, via current route to West Hampstead Station, then Blackburn Road (new bus gate to be installed), Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage, route 46 to Hampstead Heath, current route to Parliament Hill Fields, 214 to Highgate Village and Highgate Hill back to Archway.
214 Diverted between Kentish Town and Highgate Village, via Tufnell Park Station, Dartmouth Park Hill and Highgate High Street. Converted to DDs. Routes 88 and C11 continue to serve Parliament Hill Fields.
46 Restructured to operate between Barts Hospital and Finchley Road. Via current route from St Barts to Kings Cross, then York Way (serving new developments at Canal Reach), Agar Grove, loop to serve Camden Town Station, then Kentish Town Road, current route to Hampstead Heath, C11 to Swiss Cottage and the 187/268 to Finchley Road.
268 Withdrawn between Finchley Road and Swiss Cottage, and instead extended to Paddington via the 46.

I think there are plans to redevelop the O2 centre (which I have only just discovered is not connected to the phone company). I wonder whether there are any plans to allow access from the West Hampstead direction.

That would then be best for the 268 I'd say, would provide a Hampstead to West Hampstead link and could then utilise the old 139 stand at West End Green

I would send the 268 to Muswell Hill instead of Golders Green and extend the 240 to Hampstead Heath because the 310 will soon terminate at Golders Green thereby sharing the 268’s stand. By sending the 46 to York Way and Agar Grove, your breaking the Royal College Street and Camden Street links. I support your idea that 46 runs between St Bart’s Hospital and Finchley Road, O2 centre but between St Bart’s Hospital and Rosslyn Hill, I leave the routing the same. For the 214, I can understand that a Tufnell Park/Dartmouth Park and Highgate Village link can be useful but that doesn’t really call for sending the C11 to go the long way round to Archway via Highgate Village in addition to 143, 210 and 263 running between Highgate Village and Archway.

What do you guys think if the 266 extended to Mill Hill East/Millbrook Park via Hendon Central, Middlesex University and Mill Hill East Station and was restored as a 24 hour route starting from Hammersmith?

The 266 was cut back from Hammersmith for reliability reasons so I don’t think any extension, especially at both ends together, would be feasible IMO

But extending to Millbrook Park would definitely be useful as it least it provides a direct link between Cricklewood & Hendon Central and Brent Cross Shopping Centre & Mill Hill East development areas.
