The restriction at Windnot mill Lane would sadly scupper such a route not to mention the bridge is designated a weak one with a 3T limit, however, there will eventually be a route from Ealing Broadway to Osterley Tesco via a different routing if the E1 extension happens Not over the bridge.left turn from Tentelow Lane into Windmill Lane I'm very local so I know the road layout Even then, a route along Windmill Lane isn't ideal, I'd imagine it would be a non stop section between Tentelow Lane and Osterley, probably at least as far as Jersey Road, I'd imagine very little people would use that section because there's hardly any settlements there

The 211 is a bit too long for my liking... here is an idea of shortening it:
211: curtailed to Sloane Square and diverted to Hyde Park Corner via Knightsbridge 48: New route between London Bridge and East Acton via the 341 to Waterloo, the old 211 to Chelsea, the 360 along Sloane Avenue, the 49 up to Shepherd's Bush, the 260 up to the Westway, then the 7/72/283 up to East Acton.
If the 211 is considered long then I hate to imagine what other routes are considered... eg 25, 57, 36, 157 (also, I'm guessing its 381 and not 341?) Yes I meant 381... the only other one I find too long is the 345

With the rate things are going could something like this will happen or is it to long:
9: extended from Aldwych to Crouch End via route 91. 91: discontinued.
I don’t think that that night services will be touched.

I think it’s more likely, if the 9 were involved in any merger, that it would extend eastwards, maybe, as an example, extended to Aldgate, the 115 extended further into the City and (gasp) goodbye 15! Though it may be that the 115 will lose its first one in such a scheme.

Imagine it’s quoted a lot in tourist guides and has served Tower Hill for decades. Would actually like such a scheme as it would save having to change buses at Aldgate and reintroduced a link further west from the east!

The only thing about a 9/15/115 scheme such as this is where you’d extend the 115 to. Is there anywhere you could park it in and around Bank? edit : how about the 115 takes the 25 terminal at City Thameslink and the 25 unravels further, to Bank, if a terminal can be found for it there?

Could have the 9 from Hammersmith to Aldgate via Tower Hill then the 115 and 135 left to Limehouse/Poplar area.
Alternatively I could see the 42/135/205 being questioned from Aldgate to Liverpool Street and the 135 and 205 between LS and Old Street. Could the 135 divert at Aldgate to replace the 15 to TSQ or the 25 to City Thameslink.

The 115 is already really short no point cutting it back further makes more sense to extend and cover the 15 which it already duplicates from Poplar to Aldgate.

The 25 being cut back was bad enough I don't see why it needs to be cut back further.

Is there anywhere in the Mansion House area? The former 388 stand? Think the 15B even used to use the stand?

The 25 being cut back was bad enough I don't see why it needs to be cut back further. I personally think the 25 would still have alot of purpose as an Ilford to Aldgate route as opposed to running into Central then stopping just short at City Thameslink.
