Richmond and Hammersmith area routes restructure
110 - Withdrawn between Hammersmith and Whitton, rerouted to serve Twickenham Station. Frequency to remain at every 20 minutes. 190 - Extended from West Brompton Station to South Kensington station (replacing route 430), converted to a permanent double deck operation, frequency could be increased to every 12-13 minutes. New route 373 - Hammersmith Bus Station to Twickenham Stadium via current route 110 then serves Chertsey Road and Rugby Road towards Twickenham Stadium. The stand at Twickenham Stadium will be at the current Varsity Drive bus stop for route 481. Route 373 would run every 15 minutes M-F and Saturdays and on Sundays and late evenings every 20 minutes. Would be a single deck operation. 430 - Rerouted to go along Fulham Palace Road to terminate at Hammersmith Bus Station 490 - Rerouted to terminate at Richmond Manor Circus, converted to a permanent double deck operation. Sundays and late evening frequency increased to every 15 minutes. R70 - Rerouted to terminate at Richmond, Pools On The Park This area of South West London is very limited for stand space but I have tried to work with it and give pragmatic proposals which I feel would benefit this area. I really don't think it's wise to sever the Richmond to Whitton (town centre) link. It existed under the original H22 and, after it was made more direct with the 110 changes, it has become a much more popular link and it should be maintained. If the 110 were to be split, it would have to be at Richmond. There's possibility for a new stand at Richmond Station (if some taxi bays were removed), so the 490 could use that, enabling it to be decked without subjecting it to the traffic between Manor Circus and Richmond Station. It'll also improve matchday reliability as it only needs to use Richmond Circus in one direction. Then I'd send R68 to Pools on the Park and the western section of the 110 to Kew Retail Park. The Queens Road stand could possibly be used for the 391 bit. Yes I agree that the Whitton to Richmond link must be retained in some form but I was going by the premise that there's no stand space in Richmond. However, you explained your thoughts quite well. I just hope TFL are more creative when they reassess the Richmond bus routes because current route 110 is just not working and it is unsustainable in my view. Route 110 - Withdrawn between Hammersmith Bus Station and Kew and rerouted towards Kew Retail Park, becomes a Kew Retail Park to Hounslow Bus Station route New route 373 - Hammersmith Bus Station to Richmond, Queens Road (?) via current route 110 to Richmond Town Centre then stands on Queens Road Route 490 - Shortened to Richmond Station, converted to a full permanent double deck operation Route R68 - Shortened from Kew Retail Park to Richmond, Pools On The Park, becomes a Richmond, Pools On The Park to Hampton Court route

Restructure idea for Central & West London, following some earlier posts:
18 - Withdrawn between Euston and Edgware Road, instead extended to terminate at Marble Arch (North Row). N18 diverted between Edgware Road and Oxford Circus via Marble Arch.
6 - Revised to operate between Euston and Wembley, via the 18 to Paddington (Harrow Road), 46 to Warwick Avenue, current route 6 to Willesden, 260/266 to Craven Park, 18 to Wembley Triangle and 440 to stand at First Way. Route 440 to use the former 224 stand at Wembley Stadium Station instead. To relieve the 18, as well as creating various new links. Current route 6 links to Victoria maintained by the 36 and 52.
189 - Extended from Marble Arch to Victoria, re-instating some of the former route 16 links.
139 - Diverted between Lisson Grove and Oxford Circus via Marylebone Station then the 453.
453 - Withdrawn between Marylebone and Oxford Circus.

Unfortunately, Wembley Stadium can only hold one bus at a time on its stands so the 6 would not be able to use those stands. Maybe a longer extension to First Way? There is more stand space there.

That was my suggestion - the 440 would move to the old 224 stand to make space for the 6 at First Way.

I don’t really like these changes personally. The revised 6 doesn’t introduce that many new links to Wembley since a lot of it is covered by the 206 (or 297 from Willesden). I also don’t think the 139 should be rerouted, though a frequency increase is needed on that route. 453 should also be left as it is (though if tfl choose to remove it upon introducing the Bakerloop route the 12 extending to Marylebone would make sense). I’ve always thought a revised 23 running to Wembley would have worked really well & it’s unfortunate that plan didn’t go through at the time. Maybe something like this now could work?: 7: Withdrawn between Marble Arch & Oxford Circus, diverted to Aldwych via route 23. 23: Revised to operate between Oxford Circus & Wembley First Way(Great Central Way once First Way stand is moved) via Oxford St, current route to Ladbroke Grove Sainsbury’s, 18 to Wembley Stadium & 440 to First Way/Great Central Way. 452: Extended to Westbourne Park via route 23.

Clapton Proposed Bus Changes: 67: Wood Green - Whitechapel (extended and rerouted to Whitechapel via 106’s way from Stoke Newington) 106: Finsbury Park - Stratford Bus Station (extended and rerouted to Stratford Bus Station via 308’s way from Lea Bridge Roundabout) 308: Stratford Bus Station - South Woodford (curtailed to Stratford but extended to South Woodford via W13’s way)
The proposed 67 change would link Wood Green to east london locations such as Clapton & Hackney which is useful. The 106 proposed change would directly link Finsbury Park and Stratford which will be very useful especially as it isn’t used much between Whitechapel and Clapton Pond from what I’ve seen as people choose to take the 254.

Interesting suggestions, but it's not a good idea to remove a route from the very overcrowded Dalston - Stoke Newington corridor that has no train alternative. There's a reason it's one of the few corridors that TfL haven't screwed with in the last decade.

You could just extend 349 to cover that section if necessary but people think it’d be better if 349 went to Clapton Pond or Hackney Central.

Agreed, 349 should be extended via the 276 to Hackney Central, that section is heavily overcrowded on the 276 and has no low bridges. Would be less necessary if the LO finally gets the frequency increase though
