I really think that x routes like the 607 and x140 is now is the way forwards. I think that over areas in London could benefit from express routes. Routes like the X13, X16, x18 and etc could become beneficial. I worry limited stop routes will be early sacrifices if the cuts spread to outer London. I worry that too.

16: extended from Cricklewood to Sudbury via route 332 to Brent Park and 92 to Sudbury. 18: withdrawn between Wembley Triangle and Sudbury. Rerouted to Wembley Stadium via route 440 to Wembley Stadium. 32: extended from Kilburn Park to White City via 316 to Ladbroke Grove Sainsbury’s and 228 to White City. Withdrawn between Burnt Oak Broadway and Edgware. Diverted to Queensbury via route 114. To link Queensbury with Colindale and White City. 83: extended from Alperton to Ealing Broadway via route 297 to Ealing Broadway. To maintain links links. 92: withdrawn between Wembley Central and St Raphael’s. Diverted to Willesden Bus Garage via route 297 to Wembley. To maintain lost links. 186: withdrawn between Edgware and Brent Cross. Extended from Northwick Patk Hospital to Ealing Broadway via Watford Road, Sudbury Court Drive, Greenford Road, 92 to Ealing Hospital and 483 to Ealing Broadway. To link Edgware with Greenford and to provide a more direct link between Harrow and Northwick Park Hospital and Ealing. 218: withdrawn between Acton and Hammersmith. Diverted to Turnham Green via route 440 to Turnham Green. Extended from North Acton to Central Middlesex Hospital via route 440 to Central Middlesex Hospital. To link West Acton with Central Middlesex Hospital and Turnham Green. 223: extended to Wood End via H17 to Whitton Avenue East, Greenford Road, double run Green Park Way for Westway Cross, route 395 to Oldfield Circus, Oldfield Circus, Whitton Avenue West, Wood End Gardens and route 398 to Wood End Estate. To maintain links lost by the H17 and to link Wood End with Greenford Station and Westway Crosss. To also link Westway Cross and Greenford Station with Whitton Avenue East. 228: withdrawn between Uxbridge Road and Central Middlesex Hospital. Diverted to Acton Vale via route 207. Rerouted between Holland Park Avenue and Ladbroke Grove Sainsbury’s via route 316. 258: withdrawn between Bushey Heath and Watford Junction. Extended from South Harrow to Greenford Broadway via route 487 to Whitton Avenue West, Greenford Road and 92 to Greenford Broadway. To link Greenford with Harrow. 288: extended from Queensbury Morrison’s to Harrow via route 79 to Kingsbury, 183 to Kenton and route 223 to Harrow. Withdrawn between Edgwarebury Lane and Broadfields. Diverted to Brent Cross via route 186 to Brent Cross. Converted to double deck. To maintain links and to link Queensbury with Northwick Park Hospital. 303: extended from Edgware to Broadfields via route 288 to Broadfields. To maintain lost links. 306: extended from Acton Vale to North Acton via route 207 to Acton and 266 to North Acton. 440: withdrawn between Harrow Road and Wembley Stadium. Diverted to Northwick Park Hospital via 18 to Wembley Central, 83 to Alperton, 487 to South Harrow and H9 to Northwick Park Hospital. Withdrawn between Acton and Turnham Green. Converted to double deck. 297: discontinued. 316: discontinued. 332: discontinued. 395: withdrawn between South Harrow and Harrow. Diverted to Ruislip Station via route 398 to Ruislip Station. Extended from Westway Cross to Perivale via Green Park way, Greenford Road, Greenford Roundabout, Western Avenue, South Greenford Station, Teignmouth Gardens and Bideford Avenue. Maintaining lost links and North Greenford with Perivale. 487: discontinued. H17: withdrawn between Whitton Avenue East and Wembley Central. Diverted to Willesden Junction via route 487 to Willesden Junction. X16: running between Edgware and Victoria via route 32 Kilburn and 16 to Victoria. To maintain links and act as relief. X18: running between Harrow and Euston via route 182 to Wembley and 18 to Euston. To assist the 182 and 18. N6: extended from Willesden Bus Garage to Ealing Broadway via route 297 to Ealing Broadway. To maintain links at night. This is a big one. 16, 32 and 316: If anyone knows how the big the cuts are going to be for the bus network with the funding. I would discontinue the 32 out of these 3, revise the 142 to start between Bushey Heath or Station and then Cricklewood Bus garage but this is a hard one, as it is Arriva. And extend one of the 16 or 316 to Colindale Superstores or West Hendon Broadway probably the 316, with DDs. 2 buses and an express route should really serve this corridor the Uxbridge road model. You also have the 332, and the 98, 142, and 292 which all serve big chunks of this corridor. 83,92 and 297: It makes sense, with the 297 most people either use it from Willesden to Wembley Cent/Alperton or Ealing to Wembley Central. The 226 or 112 is better if your travelling to Ealing But the problem is your leaving the 206, to serve the old 92 link by itself and b4 the 440 was clanging around there as well, you would have to increase frequency of the 206, or extend like a 332 or 460. But there are good 23 restructures ppl have suggested, and that also deal with this, and retain the link from the tescos to Wembley central. Can the 83 return to its glory days or somewhat. Probably not atm, as there is less traffic but takes longer to get to Ealing Broadway from Alperton. But this change, just because of the 297 loadings work, and I am not opposed to it. I would comment on the rest but it is very long to process. But express routes of popular routes are always a yes, I think if you want to merge routes, express is the way to go about it most of the time. Given the roads are relatively straight.

Idea of Bexleyheath Library to be used as a terminus for routes 269, 301 and B13: Routes 269 and 301: extended/rerouted via Bexleyheath, Highland Road. The route will end at a stand on Albion Road. Route B13: diverted to run via the 132, then towards Welling, then turn left onto Albion Road. The route will end at (probably) the 269/301 starting point, while it will start at a separate stop instead, like on the R7 at Chislehurst and the 286 at Greenwich.

Although that seems to have gone quiet for now. I think that generally outer London routes are less under threat than those closer in.

I was just thinking that Cricklewood Bus Garage/Broadway to WJ is a bit long, so that was the reasoning. Yeah and it ratp group keep on forgetting it changed. But are cross border routes are political tools in themselves, between london and the surrounding councils lol

If funding do not come in and recovery continues to stall, we will see a big exodus in the inner London, on top of that 4% of mileage in. The numbers flaunted about are a bit depressing. Especially since Crossrail is coming out this year, so there will be more train capacity, and they spent a lot of money on it. I know when Crossrail comes out all those bus changes such as the 427 should happen round then or soon after as well.

General idea I had to improve the bus network around Swiss Cottage, Belsize Park, Chalk Farm and Camden Town
24: rerouted from Chalk Farm Road to Finchley Road Station via Chalk Farm Station, Adelaide Road, Swiss Cottage Station, Finchley Road and Waitrose / Finchley Road Station. Withdrawn between Victoria Station and Pimlico, to ease congestion and reduce journey times.
27: extended from Chalk Farm to Hampstead Heath via Haverstock Hill & Belsize Park Station. To improve links in the area and increase the amount of bus routes in the area which is needed. New links as Northern Line does not parallel.
46: withdrawn between Hampstead Station and Paddington, and diverted to Finchley Road, 02 Centre via route 268. Buses are rerouted via Belsize Village and will not serve Hampstead Station or Akenside Road but will still serve Swiss Cottage Station.
603: converted into a daily single decker route between Muswell Hill and Paddington Station, extended from Swiss Cottage to Paddington via route 46. Renumbered 446.
84: new bus route between Golders Green and Pimlico, running via route 268 between Golders Green and Hampstead Station, Pilgrim’ Lane, Royal Free Hospital then via route 24 to Camden Town Station, route 88 to Regent Street, route 22 to Hyde Park Corner and to Victoria, then via route 24 to Pimlico Station.
88: rerouted between Great Portland Street and Camden Town via Mornington Crescent Station and Warren Street. Withdrawn between Parliament Hill Fields and Camden Town. Ease journey times and congestion.
134: extended to Piccadilly Circus via Gower Street (both ways), St Giles High Street, Seven Dials / Charing Cross Road, Chinatown, Haymarket to Piccadilly Circus. To introduce Gower Street and Seven Dials with a bus service and increase links from Piccadilly to North London.
274: rerouted from Camden Town to Parliament Hill Fields via Kentish Town Station (route 88). Withdrawn between Camden Road and Islington, Angel.
476: rerouted from Upper Street to Mornington Crescent via Caledonian Road and Camden Road (route 274). Withdrawn between Pentonville Road and King’s Cross.
22: withdrawn between Hyde Park Corner and Oxford Circus
176: rerouted from Cambridge Circus to Warren Street via Charing Cross Road / Seven Dials, Gower Street (bothways), Warren Street. Add a new southbound link

Some Central London ideas:
Routes 2, 137, 148 and 211
2 - Would no longer run between Marylebone and Marble Arch. Would instead be rerouted to Notting Hill Gate via route 94. N2 would remain unchanged 137 - Would be extended to Marylebone to replace route 2. N137 would remain unchanged. 148 - Would be withdrawn. 211 - Would no longer run between Waterloo and Westminster Bridge. Would instead be rerouted to Camberwell Green via route 148.
12 - Night service renumbered N12 and withdrawn between Parliament Square and Oxford Circus. Would then be extended to White City via route 148. Day 12 would remain unchanged.
Routes 16, 36 and 332
16 - Would be rerouted between Kilburn High Road and Marble Arch via Brondesbury Road and route 36. Night service renumbered N32. 36 - Would be no longer run between Paddington and Queens Park. Night service would remain unchanged but renumbered N36. 332 - Would no longer run between Edgware Road Station and Paddington. Would then be extended to Marble Arch via route 98.

Your 12 is in effect an extended 148 (bar the very small section on Denmark Hill). I don't really see any of those changes being necessary, like I don't feel there is demand to go from Shepherd's Bush to Peckham/Dulwich etc. Also rerouting the 211 means that it duplicates the 12. And you've lost the link from Camberwell to Piccadilly and Oxford Circus, which I feel is bad because there's no tube from Camberwell. The routes were fine as they were, I don't see the changes as necessary.

Only the night 12 would change. I still don't get why you want to withdraw the 148, it breaks a lot of links by doing this 1. I don't particularly want this, but who wanted to get rid of the 10, 48 and 82 other than TfL? 2. Hopper Fare! Aside, links between many places are preserved. The 2 could continue to White City via the 31.

Cutting the N12 away from Oxford Circus is absolutely ridiculous. It's normally really well used to and from there with the night time market.

Withdrawn between Pentonville Road and King’s Cross. 22: withdrawn between Hyde Park Corner and Oxford Circus 176: rerouted from Cambridge Circus to Warren Street via Charing Cross Road / Seven Dials, Gower Street (bothways), Warren Street. Add a new southbound link The 134 would become too long if extended to Piccadilly Circus, it should be returned to Tottenham Court Road IMO but that's looking really unlikely.
Is your proposal suggesting to remove the 268? If so there's no need when the route as a whole matches a 4bph service quite well apart from school kickout time. I think it'd be a cool idea to extend it from Finchley Road to West Hampstead via Blackburn Road (with a bus gate implemented) and would link Hampstead Village & W Hampstead whilst supporting the C11.
Can't comment on anything else other than the 84 would be too long, even worse than the 24 at the moment.
