G1? I doubt it takes much longer than 10 mins to go from Clapham Junction to Clapham South as is. Plus there isn't much in Clapham South other than some shops, seems more likely that people would go to Clapham Common/Tooting/Wandsworth or other nearby areas for things I didn't know about the G1. It's generally a good route idea in my opinion though, although perhaps it could be part of the 35 instead, terminating at Balham instead of Clapham Jct, perhaps with a shortening of the route to Liverpool Street instead of Shoreditch. Having driven the 37 in the past it often suffers reliability issues whenever handling the Brixton to Clapham Junction without the 35 with it (similarly to the Wandsworth/Putney section if a 337's not with it). The 45 would be a better route to terminate at Balham from South East London.

Why would you shorten both ends? Our good friend vjaska has mentioned that the 35 can be extremely busy and I myself wouldn't encourage removing it. Also why would you cut it back to Liverpool Street? There's plenty of leisure, recreational & in person work in Shoreditch as well as it being a nighttime hub. I will say that I'm not local but this really is just drawing lines on maps at this point. OK, good point. But Liverpool St is very close to Shoreditch anyway. Probably best to leave the 35 (but not the 345) in its current state.

To be honest, I'll leave this down to the South Londoners here, but I do think the N35 should've continued to Tottenham C Rd.

New Ideas for the buses in East London.
Quite a lot of buses in east London need withdrawing or reconstructing ahead of the traffic levels and the population changes towards the need of buses.
174, 175 174 cut short to Dagenham New Road with the 175 extending to Beam Park, Marsh way Industrial area to improve reliability of the 165 as that route flares up in traffic hotspots easily at oxlow lane and gallows corner. The route is already busy in comparison to the 175
366, 368, 62 368 and 62 swap routings from rippleside to Barking with the 368 extending to Beckton Station over 366 route with that being cut short to Barking, Gascgoine Estate. Providing better reliability on the 366 as it’s a very traffic hotspot throughout it route causing it to be unreliable at the beckton. The 368 doesn’t suffer with much traffic and Beckton area needs a Double Decker bus route especially since tfl wants to cuts routes around that area.
396 396 Bus route to be reconstructed to due to overbussing on the Eastern Avenue Ilford Broadway - Gants Hill Station - Perth Road, Benton Road, Aldborough Road South, Eastern Avenue (Small Section), King Georges Hospital Second Proposal, Withdraw the 396 and extend EL3 to Newbury Park
473, 262, 241 Overbusing across newham happens and a lot of paralleling happenings especially with the 473 and 262 241 to be withdrawn and 473 rerouted to New Barn Street Custom House then straight to North Woolwich and 473 extended to Stratford city. 262 Remains the same. 147 still has the link around Keir Hardie Estate 101, 304 101 Withdrawn with the reconstructed proposed route 304 extended to Wanstead Via the existing 101 route so the 304 is custom House to Wanstead. 474 still provides a link to cyprus from East Ham
165, 365, 252, 256 165 to be withdrawn 372 frequency increase to every 15 minutes daytime monday to saturdays and every 20 minutes sunday services 365 will go via the 252 way to colier row and still terminate at Havering Park. Queens Hospital Stop will still be provided. 252 withdrawn 256 extended to Elm Park

It was just poorly run. Not sure if the 165 is a typo I do not see the sense in this like 99% of the proposals listed here. Only the 396 makes sense.

The 473 idea would have left the top part of Prince Regent Lane without a bus to Stratford. The 147 only runs to Canning Town station so you leave Keir Hardie with no buses to the shopping part of Canning Town hence why the 474 will replace the 241 later this year when it’s rerouted. O and who says Newham is over bussed? Are you local? Guessing you probably don’t use half these buses on a regular bases.

Staying with East London though, there's an area in Ilford which needs a regular bus service which I've mentioned before. New route 475 running between Aldborough Hatch and North Woolwich via Seven Kings, Barking and Beckton. Link to the map and the names of the stops. Really want to hear your opinions. wikiroutes.info/en/idea/52402

I say this slightly in jest but you sometimes read suggestions and they seem like change for change sake. Just say some of these changes did happen within a week someone would suggest further changes to the route.

It’s busy that’s it affects the services overall with bunching so that’s why 175 is a better candidate.
