Couldn't you just run a service between Barking Town Centre (there's space on the 169 stand) & perhaps King George Hospital via Longbridge Road, South Park Drive, Green Lane, New Road, S Kings H Road, Cameron Road, Aldborough Road S, then onto Eastern Avenue and then via the 396 to King George Hospital?
Perhaps it could even terminate on Abbey Road as there's a new development round there, although Eastlondoner62 would be better at answering this than I would.

Pointless!! The 304 hasn't even come yet and you're already talking about extending it It’s current proposed route is useful but since tfl want to cut the 101 the 304 might as well be extended to wnateead and withdraw the 101 so it justified for the east ham corridor correctly You would really reduce capacity though on the 101/104/474 corridor of which bare in mind the 474 was extended to serve in the 2000s. It's very easy to look at a corridor with multiple bus routes and say "oh, so and so aren't needed" but ultimately those three are very clearly justified for loadings between Lonsdale Avenue & Manor Park.
I'd question the need for a 304 but am happy to be corrected now that the 101 would be cutback to Beckton, perhaps it could be in some way diverted to Custom House, although it would probably miss out Newham University Hospital?
The 101 number is well known in the area likely so any adaptations if done would probably be better off done with the number 101 rather than a 304.

There is space at North Woolwich as well though. There's a bus stand at Factory Road where no buses are served. Also I don't see any point of it going to King George Hospital.

As for King George Hospital, hospital links are now sacred I imagine in the TFL planning department. The 307 was diverted to Barnet Hospital for hospital links, the N271 was basically saved from withdrawl because of its nighttime links to the Whittington & the 383 was extended to Finchley Memorial Hospital. Aldborough would ultimately gain a link to the hospital so I imagine that would be a popular political move.

Totally against the 175 and 174. Purely the 174 is badly run. It is not even that busy that it is leaving people. It was just poorly run. Not sure if the 165 is a typo I do not see the sense in this like 99% of the proposals listed here. Only the 396 makes sense. It’s busy that’s it affects the services overall with bunching so that’s why 175 is a better candidate. Its bunching is down to buses not being held back and left to run together, no departure times set from the stand. Even up to a few weeks ago I rode a 174 from the Heathway to Romford town centre, the driver I was on sat behind her leader at virtually every stop. She did not even use traffic lights to separate herself from her leader and not one call from the controller. The bus in front was not full and the one I was on had about 5 people.

The 263 and 307 both served Barnet Hospital pre-pandemic, it was the N20 which was extended there.

I purposely made Barking to be a via point tho with the starting point being North Woolwich. The Beckton to Barking link would be more efficient unlike the 366 and plus you already got a link between Barking and KGH with the EL3. For me I'd prefer it to terminate at St Peter's Church, Aldborough Hatch as I think KGH have enough links.

I don't even think there is enough space at the hospital given that you got routes 173, 362 and 396 terminating there. The route I have created is a high frequent route which is every 12 mins so I doubt there would be enough space plus I think Eastern Avenue would be overbussed. I get your point but I think Aldborough Hatch would be easier considering the fact that no buses run there.

New route idea/ a withdrawn route
My idea would make a new route 478 which would be a 678 but all day daily route running between Beckton and Stratford via the current routing.
678 would be withdrawn with these journeys becoming extra journeys on the 478.
This seems like a good idea as it help with overcrowding on routes 262 for passengers travelling between Stratford and Beckton, help with overcrowding on the 325 between Forest Gate and Plaistow and a new decker allowing for more capacity from Prince Regent to Beckton

This is coming from a non-local to the area, but I've heard about issues regarding the 110 and its length/reliability, could this have been an alternative suggestion?
Route 391: Reinstated. Extended from Richmond to Hampton Court via service R68. Route R68: Discontinued. Route R70: Withdrawn between Manor Road Sainsbury's & Manor Circus and diverted to Kew Retail Park via current service R68.
I couldn't tell you what to do about the 110/H22 as I'm not local and probably don't know what to do with them, but would be interesting to hear some thoughts.
Costs would be minimal given that the 391/R68 run at the same frequency however the R70 runs every 10 minutes which might overbus the Kew Retail P to Manor Circus section.

If anything just double deck the 325 and extend to Beckton instead of Royal Albert Dock but this would remove the Stratford section of the 678 and not sure if any schools served after Forest Gate.

Sorry I disagree see my post. Adding another route to Custom House will just be excessive especially with the proposed changes due this year!
