Are there any garages that have possibilities of returning?

What was formerly Carshalton Depot (CN) on Westmead Road is now used by access storage. Should they ever vacate....

It could be an outstation though. One garage that could come back is SF (Stanford Hill) as it is officially mothballed at present. I wonder if the move to electrics might see the building of fewer but bigger "super-garages" like WH?

I think you might be right about the "super-garages" the replacement for PD was said to be around the size of 250 buses.

Fewer but bigger garages with economies of scale

What was formerly Carshalton Depot (CN) on Westmead Road is now used by access storage. Should they ever vacate.... It would make the perfect outstation for A if Access do ever leave.

I always thought when Metrobus was an independent entity and not fully under London General/Go-Ahead London, would of been nice to see them have Elmers End (ED) back, would of allowed them to grow and gain more routes as it was a small company. However back then and now this would of been fantasy as there's no space to build the garage in the area especially as the old one is now a bunch of houses.

Why would you replace EB when a lot of money has been spent on modernising EB over the years. Not only that but replacing EB with a smaller yard would not only decrease any chance of RATP having an increased presence in the South West but probably require higher rent being within London unlike EB.

I think it was mentioned that PD might be sold for redevelopment. Maybe Stagecoach will move to BV?
