Some more 70-reg: Diamond Bus Northwest has at least one 70-registered Wright Streetdeck in service, MX70 ANV was photographed in service on route 163 (Manchester-Bury) twice on Friday 4th September, apparently its first day in service. <snip> The Diamond Bus Northwest vehicle was the first of a batch of 22 (40767-40789) for Bolton, all of which have/will have MK70 xxx registrations. According to Bus News 19/09/20 (LondonsTransport Google Group) these are now described as Bamford Bus Co. Streetdecks. The same sources also lists 5 Bamford Bus Co. Streetlites (20176-20180) for Diamond Bus Kidderminster, four carry 20-registrations but 20180 is registered BX70 GGY. These are 9.7m and 28 seats with luggage racks and are a diverted order, having been intended originally for Hotel Hoppa services at Stanwell. 20181/2 (BX70 GHD/GHB - yes, in that order) have also turned up at Diamond Bus Kidderminster. Apparently there are eight more to come. The vehicles have been diverted due to a downturn in demand for the Hotel Hoppa services, and the delayed introduction of more stringent LEZ regulations until 1st March 2021.

Stagecoach in Oxfordshire's replacement fleet for its Oxford-London "Oxford Tube" coach service (originally deferred from 2019 to 2020 and then delayed by covid 19) is now in build. The 34 Plaxton Panorama-bodied Volvos will be numbered 50421-50454, the first 5 will carry the T40/44/50/55/60 UBE registrtations that will be transferred from the Astromegas that currently carry them, the rest will have 70-registrations (as yet unknown). The new coaches will replace the entire current Oxford Tube fleet which consists mostly of Van Hool Astromegas that were new to the route in 2014, with a few similar (and slightly older) vehicles redeployed from Megabus work in 2019 for a frequency increase after Oxford Bus Company withdrew its long-established Oxford-London service.

*Literally have no idea where to put this so apologies as this is probably the wrong thread for it, especially considering they're unregistered* Chartwell selling 7 New and unregistered Euro 6 Intergral Wrightbus Streetdecks Seems that a 7 Arriva Saphire buses order has been cancelled or something? www.chartwellbussales.co.uk/buses_details.php?bus=217

Not sure why they didn't take these though, they were still built by the original Wrightbus, not Bamford Bus.
