Thanks, so 27 out of 31 go to Romford, that's 87% ! Hate to be a spoil sport but the 372 doesn't quite make it into Romford. Is Hornchurch okay? Saying that it's a pretty interesting fact! I bet only Kingston can give Havering a run for its money with regards to a borough that has the most routes serving one location. Kingston and Havering are two boroughs where the vast majority of their routes serve one town centre For Havering, only the 256, 372, 287, 497, 346 do not serve Romford directly For Kingston upon Thames, only the 467, S3, 151, 152, 265 do not serve Kingston directly

Depending on how you look at it - fenchurch street has 0 routes. This must be the closest location in central London with fewest routes
Same for Covent Garden as well

So 27 out of 33 in Havering serve Romford that's 81%. I don't know how this stacks up with other boroughs, but Havering has 6 routes that start in the borough and go out of London; 347 to Ockendon 370 /372 to Lakeside 375 to Passingford Bridge 498 to Brentwood 608 to Shenfield. Also 14 routes are totally contained within the borough; 165, 193, 248,252,256, 294,346, 365, 496,497, 648,649,650,651.

Most with 2 or less are near the Greater London boundary but there are a few in Zones 2 or 3. This list isn't complete, and there are far more examples that I'm not aware of. H18/H19 and H10/H9 count as one bus since they are the same in both directions, but with different numbers. It is interesting that New Years Green is only served by route U9, as its latest contract began in 2016, on New Years Eve.

Erm right, no sure what your point is? I could list 100s of places outside of London. The topic is places with no TfL bus services! I put Epping as its fairly unique even having a tube station but no TfL bus service. But not unique.
Amersham, Chesham, Chalfont & Latimer, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Moor Park, Croxley and Theydon Bois have a tube station but no TfL bus service.
AND Baron's Court

What's just as interesting is that there are no bus stops in New Year's Green - just a hail and ride section.

No TFL bus routes serve Knockholt Station which is a hair inside of the Bromley side of it’s border with Sevenoaks.

Sorry not sure if it’s been said, but Westerham in Kent. The 246 serves there, and Chartwell. Westerham and Chartwell are outside the M25 , so technically not really TFL territory. Westerham is also situated quite close to the Kent/ Surrey border. I believe it’s the most south eastern point of the TFL service area.

I used to get asked all the time for Knockholt Station when I drove the R5/R10. The bus shows Knockholt so it’s a fair assumption the bus serves, or at least goes near to, the station but it’s actually a fair old walk along country lanes. The nearest the route gets to serving it properly is when Rushmore Hill gets lost and the route is diverted along London Road and up Watercroft Road. It’s pretty much an either/or situation. If the route was diverted that way permanently then the station is served but Pratts Bottom Village loses its service and the route up Rushmore Hill is popular for the garden centre and the primary school

I’m going to be giving two counts of each here, one for the larger area based on the Spider Maps, and one that serves a station directly. Let’s look at the eastern end of the District Line and nearby areas.
Upminster: 4 (248, 346, 347, 370) Upminster Station: 4 (248, 346, 347, 370)
Upminster Bridge: 3 (193, 248, 370) Upminster Bridge Station: 2 (248, 370)
Hornchurch: 7 (165, 193, 248, 252, 256, 370, 372) Hornchurch Station: 3 (193, 252, 256)
Elm Park: 4 (165, 252, 365, 372) Elm Park Station: 4 (165, 252, 365, 372)
Dagenham East: 3 (103, 145, 364) Dagenham East Station: 2 (103, 364)
Dagenham Heathway: 5 (145, 173, 174, 175, 364) Dagenham Heathway Station: 3 (173, 174, 175) (though the 145/364 are very close)
Becontree: 6 (5, 62, 145, 364, EL2, N15) Becontree Station: 2 (62, 145)
Upney: 4 (62, 173, 287, 368) Upney Station: 1 (62)
Barking: 11 (5, 62, 169, 238, 287, 366, 368, EL1, EL2, EL3, N15) Barking Station: 11 (5, 62, 169, 238, 287, 366, 368, EL1, EL2, EL3, N15)
Barking Riverside: 3 (EL1, EL2, EL3) Barking Riverside Station: 2 (EL1, EL3)
Dagenham Dock: 6 (145, 173, 174, 175, 287, EL2) Dagenham Dock Station: 2 (145, EL2)
Rainham: 4 (103, 165, 287, 372) Rainham Station: 2 (103, 372)
I think this shows a bit of a disparity when it comes to routes serving areas versus routes serving stations. Especially Becontree Station, it is surprisingly isolated compared to others on this list, besides maybe Dagenham Dock.
