Not looking too good for Bailey, Khan has fallen too but never thought it would even get so close for such an area

Not looking too good for Bailey, Khan has fallen too but never thought it would even get so close for such an area Impressive result for Labour given this seat contains Fulham, Chelsea, Westminster and Kensington. I know it does also contain Hammersmith but nonetheless impressive.

While Bailey seems to have taken a huge hit in the inner parts of London, support seems to be higher on the fringes

I’m proud of Count Binface right now. Tories might be kicking themselves a bit for withdrawing central funding for Bailey’s campaign. Clear that many people did not put Khan as first preference. I wonder how many people put Bailey as second preference...i.e. they disliked Khan a little more than they disliked Bailey, but didn’t like Bailey enough to have him as first choice? Could be decisive.
Bailey has taken the Brent & Harrow vote from Labour to Conservative. Fascinating. Would be no tears shed from me if Khan loses. What success stories or positive impact can he point to in his first 4 years? More traffic jams, more expensive high rise, more crime....seems that blaming the government isn’t washing with some of London’s red voters.

However that so-called "relatable" personality has been underpinned by a bed of lying to cover up sleaze and incompetence, and the electorate is now cottoning on. People might like a clown, but they don't appreciate it when they are the ones being treated as the fools. Did the good people of Hartlepool not get the memo then?

Not just that but also Ealing + Hillingdon. Conservatives have had an extremely good day and not on the scale of success that I myself was expecting.
Here in County Durham everyone is talking about the Hartlepool results. Conservatives on 51.2% of the vote. And to think that Lord Mandleson used to be their MP!

Bailey seems to be enjoying a lead at the moment on first preference votes, but second preferences puts Khan ahead. Khan should get ahead again tomorrow as all the results are Labour heartlands, but it's certainly not the expected result for sure.

Not looking too good for Bailey, Khan has fallen too but never thought it would even get so close for such an area I said it before, ignore the pollsters, they generally were wrong. You and other said Khan would win a landslide victory which I did not believe to happen. You guys also said that it would be a massive turn out. I said it would be one of the lowest turn outs for all London mayoral elections. I have said Khan would win, but not anything like what the pollsters etc say. I have said they are as bad as the facebook generation and never truly reflect the people and always go to certain 'select individuals'. I have never been approached by these pollsters neither anyone I have known personally, so it is not that diverse imo.

The good people of Hartlepool have cottoned onto how they've been treated with utter contempt by Labour.

I notice when I made my vote there were very few names crossed out. I voted at around 9:15pm as well.

I have a feeling that, the way things are going, Bailey might win the election. Very poor for Labour all over the country, though the Conservatives have been lucky due to the vaccine rollout

The results from the areas Bailey was expected to be strongest have already been declared. Saturday declarations are considered Khan hotspots.
