Making the Goblin Line the official name of the line would be beyond ridiculous.

They don't need major rebranding. Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford: North London Line Highbury & Islington/Dalston Junction to West Croydon/Crystal Palace/New Cross: East London Line, reverting back to the LUL brand name. Highbury & Islington/Dalston Junction to Clapham Junction: South London Line Euston to Watford Junction: North West London Line Romford to Upminster: Elmerson line, named after the intermediate station on the branch line. West Anglia lines: Lea Valley Line. The GOBLIN one is the one I'm stuck with a suggestion for. They could just name it Gospel Oak & Barking Line. It might be a handful but it has 7 syllables just like the Hammersmith & City Line. I do agree with most of your suggestions although I think the Clapham Junction-Highbury & Islington service should be named the East London line just like the rest of that part of the network. Don’t see why it should get a separate name. I would probably also name the Euston-Watford service just the Watford line although your suggestion of NW London line isn’t a bad one.

North London Line(s) - yes Highbury & Islington/Dalston Junction - West Croydon, Crystal Palace, New Cross and Clapham Junction - collectively known as the Brunel Line(s) after the Brunel Tunnel under the Thames. I don't think East London is fitting anymore now the lines have extended so far into South London. Euston-Watford Junction - Watford Line Liverpool Street-Enfield town/Cheshunt/Chingford - Leaside Line(s) (Lea Valley Line is already in use for the route through Tottenham Hale although it isn't generally referred to as such by the public) The GOBLIN - why not? As someone said the Baker Street and Waterloo Railway became the Bakerloo Line in popular language and it stuck. Romford-Upminster I would just refer to it as that.

Don’t see why East London line name can’t still be used even though it goes beyond just East London, although I do like the sound of Brunel Line. We have plenty of current lines that serves places beyond the name. You’re naming the North London line as such even though it also serves areas of west and southwest London. Northern line doesn’t just serve North London, Central Line isn’t restricted to Central areas of London and Victoria line doesn’t just serve Victoria

I don't see any of the names used at the moment being adopted.

Crossrail 2 probably won’t happen for decades if ever, you might as well use the Churchill Line name for one of them.
