I never understood why Brentford bought Flekken when they had Strakosha there who was Lazio number 1. Because they loaned Raya to us which will turn permanent anytime now - whether Flekken should be their number 1 is a different debate but he apparently did come with good reviews from his time in the Bundesliga I've heard he was decent for Freiburg but he's been woeful for Brentford so far

BREAKING NEWS: Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season. He is quoted as saying that he's "running out of energy" and so I think it's a wise move, I'm sure he'll always be regarded as a club legend. Who next? Probably not Stevie G🤣

Probably not Stevie G🤣 Yeah definitely, has was everything that's out there for Liverpool and he'll be loved by everyone. His coaching staff are also leaving. If Stevie G then they're doomed, literally Lampard 2.0 lol. Xabi Alonso is apparently the favourite plus the guy at Dortmund. I think personally they should stay away from De Zerbi as he's massively overrated.

YX10FFN. What's your thoughts on the latest news so far? We knew he was going to leave in the next few years so wasn’t going to be a Fergie/Wenger-esque dynasty. Although obviously when I got the news it did hit me, it was always going to. I hope they’re building the statue already! And Xabi Alonso would be my first choice, especially if he goes and wins the Bundesliga which would be an incredible achievement. Big shoes to fill certainly.

You folks are still fighting on all fronts so this half of the season should be pretty interesting. Similar to the 21/22 season

BREAKING NEWS: Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season. The only thing I will say, and I'm not a Liverpool fan, is I am baffled by people downplaying his tenure at Liverpool. Yes, he only won 1 league title (potentially a 2nd this season) but he was up against the best manager in the world who manages a team that has near unlimited resources and had, regardless of the outcome, been cheating their way to success via their dodgy, murdering dictatorship, owners. He has made three Champions League finals, winning one (I wish my lot had one) and won other trophies and developed a style of play that was not only enjoyable but led to success which is not always easy to do. Whoever comes in next season will likely struggle at Liverpool - we've seen this before with clubs who have had managers stay for a lengthy period of time like at us and Utd but whilst Liverpool will have a better team left for the next manager then Wenger left for us or Ferguson at Utd, there are glaring issues. Salah & Van Dijk aren't getting any younger plus them and Trent have only 18 months left to go, they still need a proper RB IMO and to pus Trent into midfield and the attack without Salah I just don't think is reliable enough apart from Jota - will the next manager have the same pull as Klopp to bring in the players they need especially if they go with a younger coach like Alonso (not sure they will TBH)

Watched a great Life Hacks video on how to get rid of annoying Bees from your home I bet Ivan Toney didn't bet on that result

Watched a great Life Hacks video on how to get rid of annoying Bees from your home I bet Ivan Toney didn't bet on that result I think half the players in this game took the W3 afterwards and went to Ally Pally to return all the darts that were thrown around. Every game needs a Maupay. Separately, I have had enough of pundits praising Nunez for getting in the right areas and he is only unlucky. He is one of the worst players I have seen. He took about 6 shots from outside the box in the first 20mins which was crazy. He may be the reason Klopp has had his energy drained and leaving. He will get dropped on Salahs return. Big game on Sunday. TAA to play in midfield possibly. Arsenal cannot lose.

We aren't beating them - can see it going the same way as the FA Cup games where we absolutely battered them for 45 minutes, didn't take chances and then end up scoring late on.

I swear this Thomas Partey setback is beginning to become a bit questionable. How is it that when he was in Madrid he hardly got injured and then when he's come to London. Injuries galore. Thankfully we have Rice in the midfield otherwise it would have been even worse.
As good as he is as a player I think it's time to (begrudgingly) cut our losses with him. As for Nunez for all the misses he has done during his time at Liverpool I wouldn't be surprised if he scores against us tomorrow. It's like whenever Arsenal comes to town, every player rises it for that one game, even the worst of players somehow manage to find form.

We've only gone and WON the match my boy 🤝 I'm glad we have of course but for a time, it looked just like the FA Cup game where we had 100 chances unlike them who had the odd one and they were clinical. Van Dijk at fault for all three goals certainly helped and hopefully, people can park this notion that he is back to best because I'm still not convinced he is.
