Trossard can have no complaints, the foul he committed was probably worthy of a second yellow card without subsequently kicking the ball away. The Doku incident was different, he was kicking the ball to where Michael Oliver was pointing as Arsenal tried every trick in the book to waste time, but it came back to bite them as City equalised in the time that was added on because of their time wasting. Great game from a neutral perspective and a draw was probably a fair although Arsenal get the psychological advantage. My argument was actually kicking the ball away? You don't chase the ball at 100% just to kick it away. Was he not just trying to clear the ball by hoofing it away as you would do when the whistle is well overdue, expecting to then hear the half time whistle. Of course the Doku incident was different, he was playing against Arsenal. It wasn't different. Rice was standing where the kick needed to be taken. If a player can not pass a ball over such a short distance, at a unnecessarily forceful pace, which he did neither, it is delaying the restart of the game. Seems referees do have a choice, yet sometimes they chose to ignore it, and other times claim they are left other option The refs are either corrupt, incompetent or a bit of both. All they want to do is needlessly get involved and make themselves the centre of attention. In addition, City’s players are certainly rattled judging by their post match interviews especially the one from Bernardo Silva - “only one team came to play”, “we try to win every game”, “they injured Rodri twice” (which is a lie) and then moaning about our dark arts tactics that not only every club does but they also do, especially the tactical fouls which led to Solskjaer calling them out directly over it.

I don't know what game you were watching but that weren't it. A draw was NOT a fair result. City just about got a draw against a 10 man Arsenal. How was a draw not a fair result? I say this because Arsenal were ahead at that moment in time. City had the majority of decisions swing in their favour. Now Trossard being sent off some would say it was right others not so. My issue that I've been talking about for ages is consistency. I would have no issue with these refs if they kept it consistent but they don't. Nowadays dropping points at any part of the season can be fatal come May when the season ends. Granted Arsenal didn't lose but the way it ended along with Haaland throwing the ball at Gabriel was not right at all.

I'm not sure City did get the majority of decisions, they were aggrieved with the Arsenal equaliser when Michael Oliver called both captains over and then didn't allow Kyle Walker to get back into position before restarting the game. Haaland didn't throw the ball at Gabriel with any force although it could possibly have been seen worthy of a red card.

"Haaland didn't throw the ball at Gabriel with any force" Why did he throw the ball at him in the first place? There was no need for that and there was a bit of force in it when you have a chance to watch it again and might I add. Any sensible player would pick up the ball and put it in the middle of the park to get a result that could benefit them. Haaland has more sense than that and was trying to wind the players up.

Firstly, Trossard deserved to go. Rice did last time out. Howard Webb came out and said Pedro should have been booked. Doku should have been booked.
What we all can agree with is the refereeing is rubbish and inconsistent. The prior game Brighton - Forest had equally poor referee who 2 seconds after saying the player got the ball preceded to send him off. I dont need Oliver to do these games. If they all are highly trained and can handle pressure there should be a randomness to who referees. You may find a competent one.
Taking a step back and the bigger picture, I would want to see Arsenal destroy their next few opponents because they dont seem to be free scoring as City. We know they can defend and teams will defend their set pieces better (no-one other than Gabriel was trying to head the ball) but this Odegaard injury is a concern. Saka and Havertz are fine but someone else needs to get goals. I can see some low scoring draws costing them.
Love the tension between the sides. You know Gabriel was all in Haaland's ear, but you got to hold on otherwise it might comeback to hit you on the head.

I thought that was odd in the Brighton v Forest game but apparently the fourth official notified the referee through his earpiece about what actually happened. It would be nice if we could all hear these conversations, one day maybe?

Rodri could be out for the rest of the season so if that's true then the other teams may be happy about that.

Wowsers. That scoreline for United actually made them look decent. That could have been a cricket scoreline. United were absolutely dismantled on the pitch. If Werner, Solankè, Sarr and Johnson had put them other chances away it would have been worse for United.
I thought it may have been a draw but this was bad really bad
