On his daughters birthday as well. So sad Those ones hit the hardest because how does one celebrate their birthday when they've also lost a loved one on that same day.

Yesterday's match against Bournemouth. I knew this loss would be coming for a while. It was just a matter of time. Thankfully the Saliba loss is only for one game and not three despite it being a straight red.
The last time I've seen a sub getting subbed off in the same match for Arsenal must of been in 2008 when Eboue got subbed off against Wigan and the whole stadium cheered at Wenger for doing that as that was one of the worst games I've seen Eboue play. Kiwior I wonder what Arteta must be thinking about him

If it's further up the field, then totally it is but the striker still has so much distance before he can actually get a proper opportunity off.

On another day it may have been just a yellow but now it's a case of who's on at the time.

Almost anything could be a goal scoring opportunity. For Saliba, I would be happy if a player got sent off for being the last man and not playing the ball. We dont need that subjective goal scoring opportunity. It is similar to when a player kicks the ball passed a GK and out of play and then gets penalty because the keeper touches the player. You give the team a goal scoring opportunity (penalty) when there was no-way the player would have scored if the GK did not touch them (as the ball was kicked away or out of play).
