Imagine the embarrassment if he scores the winning goal in the final (unlikely I know) and is subsequently found guilty. I'd like to think that the fact that his initials are I.B.E.T (Ivan Benjamin Elijah Toney) has had no bearing on the decisionπ€£!

Poor performance from Spurs today I think they are slowly handing over 4th to Man Utd or Liverpool though I still won't count Chelsea out unless that gap gets bigger than the current 7 point lead United have. What Chelsea fans need to do is start getting behind Potter and pleading for their owners to "trust the process", give him the players he wants, get rid of the dead wood they've accumulated and more importantly, give him time because all I keep hearing from Chelsea fans is sack him and get someone else in which, IMO, is ludicrous. The whole "we've won the transfer window" nonsense that some Spurs fans were throwing at the other big six clubs all of a sudden looks rather laughable. The squad looks rather lacking compared to other teams and watching them today was literally like watching paint dry.

Poor performance from Spurs today The pressure is growing on Antonio Conte and another gaffe from Hugo Lloris didnβt help but take nothing away from Aston Villa who have improved massively since Unai Emery took over.

Like the E200 Darts on the 318, most of the squad have been run into the ground and require replacing. Cheeky purchases of Italian unknowns is no different to West Ham's buying unknown Eastern Europeans in the 90s. Granted, Perisic and Lenglet have done well, but are in their 30s and getting on a bit. Lloris is worn out from the World Cup, and we've stuck Forster at the back of the Garage like EN38 and aren't utilising him. Kane seemed to freeze like an old Android tablet and I barely saw him run for most of the first half. Hanging around near Olsen, the Villa goalie in an attempt nick a goal was fruitless. Each transfer window involves The Middle of Lidl bargains, but Levy thinks buying - or offloading - someone is a way to appease the fans. Conte was the first to try offload some of the dead wood, thank goodness Ndombele has gone, now to deal with Royal who had a bust up with training staff, Gil who is more flaky than broadband after someone has tampered with the Exchange Box down the road, Spence who seems to an unwanted birthday present and never featured in the team, Doherty who's performance like Dier's, switches on and off like a Hybrid bus's engine... too many has beens and also-rans, Conte knows the game is up and isn't making any effort. Something has happened in that dressing room, I understand those playing in the World Cup would have been conserving their energy beforehand, but the sloppy conceding first before the scrabble to win or draw is getting boring now. Spurs need to drop the bants with Arsenal for now and concentrate on salvaging some dignity before tumbling out of Champions League, FA Cup etc. Thankfully Chelsea had a mare so 4th is still a possibility if their heart is in it for the Palace game. I wouldn't be surprised if Pochettino is in talks with Levy and they are just waiting for more booing after another loss (if Conte's training sessions are so intense it's wearing players out there's an issue)... if we spent big and the team doesn't gel, even that in itself is a problem. Yes, Levy's tight as clingfilm but Conte's here to do a job. If you throw in the towel like a supply teacher in a failing school, don't be surprised when players down tools to force you out, and fans, paying the highest fees in the land go toxic Wednesday againt Palace may be Conte's undoing. Levy prepares to pay off yet another coach millions of quid, rather than back him in the window. Had to pay Nuno and Jose the same way, but Conte's method of threatening to use the emergency exit each time he doesn't get his own way might backfire. Chelsea showed him the door the same way, it seems inevitable now, judging by body language and comments in post match pressers... telling a team that 4th place is a "miracle" won't go down well, and may not inspire Levy to back him. Conte is like running a Range Rover on Universal Credit money. Not sustainable for long
