Spurs have had injuries that they have not overcome in last 7-8 games but the clear difference is Son is 5% of the player from last season and about 30% of a normal Son season. He has been terrible. Conte will hang around with the Champions League and they may have the set up to do well there. If they get knocked out then he may go early.
Big week this. If Arsenal win against Newcastle and Man City drop points against Chelsea then I think the title race is over and the games between Arsenal -Man City might not matter (although I fancy Arsenal in those games anyway). Arsenal have played well and have a manager in Pep's image but they also have good fortune in key moments which have helped. Against West Ham and Brighton they got crucial goals via random deflections/mis kicks to get them level or ahead. Brighton had no Caicedo/MacAllistar too. Brentford beat Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd and drew against Tottenham, Chelsea but Arsenal played Brentford in an early kick off, the first game back from the Queen passing away and there was no atmosphere at all in the Community stadium.

I would not say Son has been terrible, but not the player he was last season. People said when Jesus was injured, Arsenal would not win, I guess they were wrong. I would not write Man City off even if they don't win the next few games. Still loads more games left of the season. Not sure what is going on at Liverpool, since Mane has left, they seem to have taken a few steps back.

Poor performance from Spurs today I think they are slowly handing over 4th to Man Utd or Liverpool though I still won't count Chelsea out unless that gap gets bigger than the current 7 point lead United have. What Chelsea fans need to do is start getting behind Potter and pleading for their owners to "trust the process", give him the players he wants, get rid of the dead wood they've accumulated and more importantly, give him time because all I keep hearing from Chelsea fans is sack him and get someone else in which, IMO, is ludicrous. The whole "we've won the transfer window" nonsense that some Spurs fans were throwing at the other big six clubs all of a sudden looks rather laughable. The squad looks rather lacking compared to other teams and watching them today was literally like watching paint dry. Not surprised Chelsea fans are like that. After all they still as delusional as Roman who was constantly sacking managers. During his reign at Chelsea, I do not think any manager lasted 5 years! That mega spending that Roman did season after season on managers and players wont be happening now. Seems like that would end up falling with Man City and Newcastle. Spurs needs to concentrate on winning a title. Pointless being in top 4-6 all these years and have not won Championship, Europe, FA Cup, Carabao Cup.

The Chelsea revolving door policy under Roman has served them quite well although I don't think many Chelsea fans seriously want Graham Potter sacked already although they're not renown for their patience. Tottenham fans on the other hand are losing patience with Antonio Conte, his style of football hasn't gone down well although fans might be more tolerant if results were improving. Some are saying that a bad result at Crystal Palace tomorrow night and that will be it for Conte although I think he'll probably get until the end of the season. I don't think even a top four finish will appease them, they want a trophy after so many barren years and Arsenal being top of the league just rubs it in.

Only titles Spurs are interested in are Stadium Naming deals last throw of the dice sees Sarr and Skipp start tomorrow, Kane will be run into the ground without a pause for maintenance like EN34. If Top 4 brings Champions League and more £££s, then Spurs will be content with that. This transfer window has brought a standoff where Conte has refused to sign a new contract unless he is backed with players. Levy refuses to provide players if he doesn't sign the contract. Interesting times

I wouldn't say the title race is over because Newcastle back in 1996 were 12 points clear at the top and they shot themselves in the foot. Ahhh Kevin Keagan.

I said this before at the earlier part of the season and I'll say it again. I genuinely did not think and I still don't think Nottingham Forest is ready for the Premier league just yet. If somehow they prove me wrong then I'll eat my pie.
I think maybe because they've been out since 1999 that they've been under a shock as to how things have changed over the years.
Saying that I think Southampton will be heading through the trapdoor come the end of the season.

Yeah, many on social media and those phoning in on the radio have been asking for Potter to be sacked with most wanting Tuchel back or even Conte

I think Son has been very poor, 3 goals in the league (all 3 against Leicester in the same game) but as for us, I don't think we'll win it still as I can sadly still see City coming back at some point though they do have a difficult run, similar to us, coming up playing Spurs twice, Utd & Chelsea Liverpool are an ageing team and this is reflected in their midfield unable to cope with energetic teams. I also think Van Dijk is not the same guy since he got that injury, personally I thought Matip was outperforming him last season

The dreaded "points have been shared" strapline has returned. That ref made some questionable decisions. Talk about being OTT with the cards. This is not the time to collapse Arsenal

The dreaded "points have been shared" strapline has returned. That ref made some questionable decisions. Talk about being OTT with the cards. This is not the time to collapse Arsenal Ref was horrendous, he ruined the game by booking both sets of players so early for silly things and then missed a blatant tug in the box by Dan Burn. Newcastle deserved a point and we didn't play well enough to win. Just sums up why I still am not convinced we'll win it even though I love the team and how it's playing
