Remarkably they're still in 4th place although Man United have two games in hand, one of which against Tottenham, which will be a crucial game for both teams. However United have been poor lately, especially against Newcastle and they were lucky to beat Fulham in the FA Cup. European football might hamper their chances of getting CL football I canβt disagree with Danny Murphy about Harry Kane.....embarrassing π² talksport.com/football/1383860/abdoulaye-docoure-red-card-karry-kane-everton-tottenham-danny-murphy/They must be teaching Drama classes at that new school Daniel Levy opened the other day When Son got a similar slap a few years ago, he just carried on. It was always going to be a tough game, Everton circling the plughole, whilst Spurs are that disturbed kid in class none of the teachers will help or address. Levy has to go, it was clear Stellini is no different from Conte, the best of friends for years. No one has dealt with the players or changed up formation and personnel in the line up, same faces. If they carry on like this, they will have Stellini screaming like an SB200 in an Arriva Yorkshire YouTube video

What a joke.

Anyways I'm waiting for St Totteringham's Day to return so I can flood this forum with memes πππ Could happen on Sunday, if Spurs lose the day before and Arsenal beat Liverpool. Though Liverpool away can be tough. Tomorrow sees the reverse fixture of when Man Utd lost to Brentford 4-0, let's hope it isn't 4-0 again!

Poor decision by Chelsea, they caved into their impatient fan base who think Rome was built in a day. More short term decisions taken in football - at least the Rodgers one was more understandable, now there's an overrated manager if I ever saw one. I remember when he was linked with us before Arteta was chosen and my heart honestly sunk - a lot of his success at Leicester was put in place by the man no one cares to bother remembering - Claude Puel What do you expect, they are used to this sort of lunacy under Abromavich. Before he took over the club, Chelsea was a mediocre club. They are a circus parody thinking spending millions on new players every season and managers means it would always bring silverware.

I disagree, think it's too strong a punishment

I disagree, think it's too strong a punishment Far too strong considering Fernandes did pretty much the same thing 2 weeks earlier and the FA have turned a blind eye. Clearly had the wrong shirt on. Soft target.

Surely if St Totteringhams day does happen this weekend it's one of the earliest ever? Not even May yet or anywhere near.

If there is a bit more respect on the field this will lead to better respect off it (by fans). I am baffled as to why football referees get so much abuse (verbal) on the field in comparison to other sports. Therefore, an 8 game ban is fine but what was that for? Was it for the shove, the aggression, the language. The latter two happen all the time. The shove happened with Fernandez, and I 100% disagree with you, it is the same thing. Referees should not be touched. In my opinion, we need more yellow cards/red cards and bans for referee abuse until players respect the referee. The onus is on the referees though to take action to help themselves. I hate the throw away line that football is a passionate sport. They all are. While I am here, shout out to Unai Emery. Always been a good manager and was doing well at Arsenal but was not given time. Brendan Rodgers another good manager and might do the job at Spurs.

Fernandes made minimal contact with the official and may have been accidental, I don't see how it can be compared to Mitrovic. But I agree that this "football is a passionate game" line is ridiculous and just used as a feeble excuse for such behaviour, on the rugby pitch players have far more respect for the officials. Yes Unai Emery has done a great job, a friend of mine is a Villa fan and he said the transformation from Steve Gerrard has been remarkable. I don't think Tottenham fans will be very impressed about Brendan Rogers though or for that matter Graham Potter. I think they've had enough Chelsea cast offs.
