So according to reports out there. The way St Totteringham's day can happen this weekend is if Tottenham LOSES to Brighton and Arsenal BEATS Liverpool. However if neither of those two things happen then most likely it will be the game against West Ham that seals it

Surely if St Totteringhams day does happen this weekend it's one of the earliest ever? Not even May yet or anywhere near. Actually the earliest one was in the 07/08 season in the beginning of March of that year Wow Tottenham were so bad that year, not even top half of the table. I can't really judge any season before about 11 years ago, don't really remember much before then. However if I remember correctly that was the season where they last won a trophy 🤣 Also the season with the earliest relegation by a team which was Derby County on 29 March. They were 24 points behind 2nd bottom and only won 1 game!

However if neither of those two things happen then most likely it will be the game against West Ham that seals it if Tottenham draw and Arsenal win technically it can still happen as Arsenal's goal difference is highly superior to Tottenham but yeah the only way this week is for Tottenham to lose and Arsenal to win. Would have been funny if it took place on Derby day

If there is a bit more respect on the field this will lead to better respect off it (by fans). I am baffled as to why football referees get so much abuse (verbal) on the field in comparison to other sports. Therefore, an 8 game ban is fine but what was that for? Was it for the shove, the aggression, the language. The latter two happen all the time. The shove happened with Fernandez, and I 100% disagree with you, it is the same thing. Referees should not be touched. In my opinion, we need more yellow cards/red cards and bans for referee abuse until players respect the referee. The onus is on the referees though to take action to help themselves. I hate the throw away line that football is a passionate sport. They all are. While I am here, shout out to Unai Emery. Always been a good manager and was doing well at Arsenal but was not given time. Brendan Rodgers another good manager and might do the job at Spurs. Fernandes made minimal contact with the official and may have been accidental, I don't see how it can be compared to Mitrovic. But I agree that this "football is a passionate game" line is ridiculous and just used as a feeble excuse for such behaviour, on the rugby pitch players have far more respect for the officials. Yes Unai Emery has done a great job, a friend of mine is a Villa fan and he said the transformation from Steve Gerrard has been remarkable. I don't think Tottenham fans will be very impressed about Brendan Rogers though or for that matter Graham Potter. I think they've had enough Chelsea cast offs. They both touched the referee on purpose when they shouldn’t have and thus both should have been banned but eight games is too strong for what is a slight push - we aren’t talking Di Canio here. We give out three match bans for some absolute nasty tackles but eight for a push which to me shows priorities are wrong - you don’t need an eight match ban in particular to curb lack of respect for referees when a shorter ban should provide the same thing

Had that situation with Eduardo not occur then we most definitely would have done it.

Who predicted this? Remarkable transformation under Roy Hodgson and Leeds must be very concerned...

I think Leicester fans should be very concerned they look doomed to relegation, especially as they've lost to teams around them, and they have a few tough fixtures ahead like City and Newcastle.

It’s all kicking off at Anfield,Robinson went to complain to the linesman at halftime and claimed that he elbowed him in the throat.

City is a must win game for them After watching the match. I don't know how I feel. I fear this draw may cost us at the end of the season but my goodness what a save Ramsdale did towards the end of the game. As soon as Firmino came on I knew he would get his usual goal against Arsenal

I'm still laughing at the fact that Jota hasn't scored a league goal in a YEAR!!
