Tottenham Court Road (Crossrail) Platforms are straight. It may be Farringdon, Bond Street or Whitechapel that curve in that case. One of them certainly curve and have PSDs.

Okay
When I looked at Tottenham Court Road on you tube it looked quite straight to me.
PSDs can cope with gentle curves, could they be put in at Piccadilly Circus on the Bakerloo is another question.

The other problem with PEDs (Platform Edge Doors) is that they have to match where the trains doors are. This means that every time trains are replaced the doors have either to be in exactly the same place as before on the new trains, or the PEDs need to be re-designed. If the doors and PEDs do change then how do both old and new trains with doors in different positions work? Not an easy problem and can hinder progress as better train designs evolve and become possible.

Or Bank on the Central Line Bastille, Paris driverless Metro Line 1: As well as curved stations these would be ideal for island platforms Clapham Common and Clapham North, the later which also happens to have a very minor curve.

I noticed over the weekend both the Jubilee and Northern lines now have glass panels next to the seating closet to the wheelchair spaces, is this a late addition to the refurbished trains or was it Covid related? I am sure its fairly new.

I am sure its fairly new. They’ve had them for a while, certainly on the northern line for a few years now. I think it was done during the last major refurb in 2014/15. I’m not sure when the jubilee line stock was completed.

What has happened to make the ride quality between Canning Town and Stratford so bumpy? It’s awful! Never used to be this bad!
