Don’t the 129 and 329 count? WHV workings are quite often on the 129 these days.

Some routes have been exclusively diesel. Only a few double-deck bus routes have never had a low-emissions bus working (whether battery-hybrid, smart-hybrid, electric, pantograph or hydrogen-powered) remain. 66, 89, 103, 121, 128, 132, 145, 150*, 169, 175, 191, 198, 247, 250, 279, 291, 294, 368, 370, 486, 498, N250. The 132 and 198 (and certainly the 250 and N250) will be next off the list with the new HAs. Which one will be the last? I'm predicting the 217 GY routes, 66, 103, 175 and 370. If I've missed any out, or any routes on my list have had the elusive working, let me know. The 145 gets some MMC strays occasionally

625 689 has never had a Hybrid. In addition other routes where double deckers appear but never low emissions vehicle 289 375, 411?, B16 The 289 has the possibility of a HA appearing on it. 126 152 163 164 165 312 355 423 487 R9 U7 Hybrids have appeared not sure if I’ve missed any. I know these are single decker routes just thought I would mention them. 296 and 325 also seen some double deck workings though both of those routes have only used diesel double deckers so far.

237, E2 and E8 are going to stay diesel until their contract finishes:

But the odd VWH do appear on those routes even if it’s rare. Can you say for sure that 237, E2 and E8 will be diesel until there contracts ends? How do you know that Metroline aren’t planning to put hybrids mid way through their contracts?

Is there any hybrid working on the 51 before?

Is there any hybrid working on the 51 before? Yes when it operated from MB and when Stagecoach operated it.

How do you know that Metroline aren’t planning to put hybrids mid way through their contracts? There are routes with older TE’s in north London. AH’s VW’s aren’t in the worst condition, the 10 reg are pretty poor but the 61 and 12 reg are still fairly good. The 237, which was the first route to get the VWs will finish in 2024. Whether RATP or Metroline win it (Abellio will have no space at TF with the 111) the VWs will definitely last until then. Electrics will most likely be put on the route

Electrics will most likely be put on the route Just because there are routes with older TEs won’t stop Metroline from replacing the VWs with younger hybrids midway during 237s or E2 or E8’s contracts. Metroline could put hybrids on the 237, E2 and E8 and send the VWs to the routes in North London to replace the older TEs. VWs could be leased and Metroline could replace them with hybrids to send the VWs back to the lease holder. Or the VWs could be replaced by something younger mid contract in a bid for Metroline to retaining routes 237, E2 and E8. We as outsiders have no idea what Metroline are planning. The VWs could stay until the end of the 237’s or E2’s or E8’s contracts but then they could not. There’s no knowing what Metroline are planning.

W could always receive some 12 reg from the 204 to replace TE992/1573-1575.

Tenders coming up are very North London Centred with the 186/263/297/307 coming up for tenders all of which could use VWHs from the 125/271/295/X140. I suspect the 12/62 reg VWs from the 186/204/297 could then start replacing the unrefurbished First Examples and then they could start replacing VWs at AH.
