Was WSD1 not hybrid? The 486 saw one. Also great to see 198 and 250 with hybrids - the more routes off this list, the better.

Some routes have been exclusively diesel. Only a few double-deck bus routes have never had a low-emissions bus working (whether battery-hybrid, smart-hybrid, electric, pantograph or hydrogen-powered) remain. 66, 89, 103, 121, 128, 132, 145, 150*, 169, 175, 191, 198, 247, 250, 279, 291, 294, 368, 370, 486, 498, N250. The 132 and 198 (and certainly the 250 and N250) will be next off the list with the new HAs. Which one will be the last? I'm predicting the 217 GY routes, 66, 103, 175 and 370. If I've missed any out, or any routes on my list have had the elusive working, let me know. 345? Pretty sure the only Diesel DD route to enter Zone 1. I'm sure 476 is as well

But the odd VWH do appear on those routes even if it’s rare. Can you say for sure that 237, E2 and E8 will be diesel until there contracts ends? How do you know that Metroline aren’t planning to put hybrids mid way through their contracts? There are routes with older TE’s in north London. AH’s VW’s aren’t in the worst condition, the 10 reg are pretty poor but the 61 and 12 reg are still fairly good. The 237, which was the first route to get the VWs will finish in 2024. Whether RATP or Metroline win it (Abellio will have no space at TF with the 111) the VWs will definitely last until then. Electrics will most likely be put on the route Would've preferred the ex 295s to finish the contract and possibly remain for a new contract.

The VWHs on the 295 on the ex 295 yet because unless things change they’ll be on the 295 until the 295’s contract ends in October of this year and then they might be used for another contract.

The 132 will soon be off the list with the new EPs, and we could see the 198’s HAs stray onto the 250 and N250. Which one will be the last? I'm predicting the 217 GY routes, 66, 103, 175 and 370. If I've missed any out, or any routes on my list have had the elusive working, let me know. Just to clarify, I’m not talking about routes allocated diesels, I am looking for routes which have never seen a low or non-emissions bus. Route 128 has seen a hybrid VLA, yes you read that right, VLA99 to be specific. Pictured here

Green Kitten EP14 currently on 89 - looks to be the next one off the list 145 has also seen many hybrids, such as 11399, as it has recently started its new contract using hybrids. Photo credit to lakithunder
