Hi what are the best bus routes with the best views like from Hills
The ones that I can think of are 53 107 245 332 432 417 N1 what others routes that got some the best views to see

240 and to a lesser extent 221 in Bittacy Hill/The Ridgeway areas.

The now withdrawn RV1 had some good views especially when crossing Waterloo and Tower Bridge.
I’m sure there was already a thread about this unless I’m going made 😁

Hi what are the best bus routes with the best views like from Hills The ones that I can think of are 53 107 245 332 432 417 N1 what others routes that got some the best views to see W3 between Wood Green and Finsbury Park, notably passing Alexandra Palace and along Ferme Park Road (both directions). W7 and 144 descending Muswell Hill. 210 across the top of Hampstead Heath and descending Highgate Hill. 83 and 183 have a brief but good view from the hill on Kingsbury Road between Church Lane and The Hyde. 258 across Harrow-on-the-Hill and descending towards Bushey and Watford - also Harrow Weald Common which doesn't have views but is scenic in its own right. Also 142 descending Stanmore Hill. The 247 is a surprising one because the scenic bit is actually as flat as a pancake - but there is an extensive view towards Docklands and the City of London across the fields between Marks Gate and Hainault Forest. |

The 15 is another good one for the sights and tourists parts of central London.

Some top of my head:
210 - great view of Hampstead Heath.
298/313 - that stretch at the boundary of London to Potters Bar have plenty of greenery
121/299 - some good views of the quiet residential area and parks around Southgate
465 - the stretch out to Leatherhead and Dorking is enjoyable as well

Short but sweet, 245,260 and 460 descending from Childs Hill has an nice large view of Brent, which you can spot Wembley Stadium in the background.

Someone did mention the 89, 486 also offers great views when ascending/descending Shooters Hill.

107 between Barnet and Aldenham
96 & 428 at Darent Valley Hospital
142 & 258 at Bushey and Stanmore

290 between Sunbury Cross and Hanworth on the A316 flyover by the waterworks.
When LT ran the Airbus routes, the view from the top deck of a Metrobus on the elevated section of the M4 was good.
