Knock down that what’s it called that cable car that runs between North Greenwhich and the Royal docks. Apparently not many people from TfL have been on it even though it’s right on there doorstep in North Greenwhich.

It dumps you in the midlde of nowhere in Royal Victoria but people can get return tickets, get the DLR or walk to the 147/ 241 330/474.

I would make it mandatory for the mayor to use the tube / bus every day. And walk / cycle in winter and when the temperature tops 33 degrees

And walk / cycle in winter and when the temperature tops 33 degrees I'm sure the mayor would love to use the bus and tube, sadly near-daily and credible death threats mean that those charged with his safety would not allow it. Andy Byford rides the buses and tubes though. He became well-known for it in New York. Many high-ups in the transport sector ride with their name badges on display.

The Emirates sponsorship ensured that it recovered its construction costs and it now covers its operating costs from fares revenue, believe it or not.

I disagree it can be quite useful for people because it gives a cross River alternative to trains which some people may prefer not to use

Well I am pretty sure a lot of us (including most women!) feel unsafe but have no option but to use public transport. Not sure why he needs a 5-car entourage running on diesel all the time (including for walking his dog!) while espousing everyone to walk or cycle

The tram network should have spread out all over South London by now, I’d definitely sort that out.

The easiest way to Sutton would be take the Thameslink line and upgrade it to Tram. Yes, shorter trains but it would be far more frequent and less vulnerable to any problems on the central core of Thameslink. The TfL plan through Rose Hill just seemed ridiculous.

Yeah, that would make more sense. People seem to think because Paris done it that it should be simply copied and move along - it doesn't work that way and every city has different needs and challenges where a tram might suit one but no the other. Cross River Tram would of caused unnecessary disruption in Brixton for example why using part of the town centre to install a loop for trams to turn around as well as cause disruption on the A23 itself and we wouldn't of gained much benefits outside of being a bit faster than buses but the Victoria Line and even the Rail Line already do this for services into Central London.

Perhaps if London had done what Paris did in the 1800s it could work today but when you’ve got relativity tiny streets instead of the large boulevards it’s really difficult. If London had been as bold as Paris in demolishing buildings to service future expected demand we could have seen more.

If the environment had been a thing in the 50s we’d never had had the Routemaster & trolley busses would still be running.Clean, quiet & fast.

Strengthen the Hammersmith Bridge to make so strong you can run double deckers over it.
