The tram network should have spread out all over South London by now, I’d definitely sort that out. In what way? I'd agree in terms of extension to Palace & Sutton but beyond that, I can't see how it could be done without bringing the road network to a grinding halt. Beckenham Junction and Birkbeck to Crystal Palace for sure. Then from Beckenham Junction I’d definitely build a line to Bromley North via Shortlands somehow. From there I’d take over the Bromley North to Grove Park line definitely.

Will be updated laterwith more details: New zone system: 1-9 Bus system based on these zones, with Z1 being 1-99 and Z9 being 800-899 (potentially a spreadsheet showing these routes with people here contributing with their own ideas seeing as I'm npt too familiar with every area in the whole city) Prefix routes only being in one area Tramways across the metropolis Commercial companies in the Home counties merged into existing companies in London (GAL commercial being merged into mainstream GAL for example)

I can't understand why so many people suggest renumberings, 99%* of the time it's just a bunch of effort for no reason, and plenty of route numbers are established. London passengers can barely handle a curtailment, let alone every single route changing number! * 99% mainly because of the recent consultations - one instance being the 414, 430 and 507 which ought to be numbered 14, 74 and 11.

Being taken over with their blessing is one thing, your proposal to force them into mergers is, sorry to say, a pretty bad, not to say heartless idea, and I think you need to reconsider that one.

Despite this, I'm intrigued to know if you envisage the zones system affecting bus routes in any others ways, like in terms of fares or is it purely cosmetic?
