Having seen the latest footage, if he does not go down for at least two years, the cries of TwoTierKier will reverberate loud and clear again. I Know shameful behaviour. Cue someone else always saying would the Tories have been any better. I was under the impression the Labour Party were full of Angels just waiting to govern in the most moral way. Nothing more than thugs in suits, so many incidents involving their MP's and councillors this year alone.

This is all on the honourable member for Runcorn, and he, and he alone should face the consequences of his violence.

In any politiacl party you will get rougues, bad apples - and people who simply get something wrong from time to time. Also, reading between the lines it does appear this MP may have been the subject of considerable harrasment and abuse. I'm not saying that excuses the MP's behaviour on this occasion but everyone has a point at which they snap.

After some off his tweets about people that break the law and what they deserve, I really hope they throw the book at him. Reap what you sow, and the initial impression I am getting about him is he was a horrible man, but got to confess knew little about him before this. According to his tweets he should expect 5 years.

Trouble is Labour, The Guardian and the Mirror made out that they were all angels prior to getting in power and the Conservatives were the devil incarnate.

Reportedly over comments about the winter fuel allowance and the closure of a local bridge? I'm mindful of the fact he's innocent until proven guilty but it doesn't look good!

but this implies that all Labour members = thugs, which is no more correct than all Conservative members = selfish liars... Tell that to the name calling left who deem the Conservatives to = "the nasty party" and anyone even remotely to the right of their point of view in opposition or disagreement = Nazis, Hitler, far right extremists, bigots, racists, xenophobes, anti-vaxxers, conspiracy theorists etc.

'If you don't agree with me I will call you an uncomfortable name' ... when that happens they have normally realised they have lost an argument, so resort to name calling. What they don't realise is by throwing these terms around willy nilly, that makes the terms more normalised and will eventually become more acceptable. Not sure if that is their aim?

A perfect example is the left's frequent usage of labelling everyone in disagreement to them as Nazis/Hitler reducing a most terrible atrocity (WW2) to a catch phrase thrown around to label things nothing remotely on the same levels of what occurred during the war.

I don’t appreciate my posts being quoted for rambling right wing (or left wing for that matter) rantings.

I don’t appreciate my posts being quoted for rambling right wing (or left wing for that matter) rantings. If you don't want something quoted then don't post it.
Posting in a political thread is perhaps not the best place if you don't want it being subjected to left wing or right wing "rantings".

I’ve had enough. I’m going to leave my posts up so they can be searched for, but this forum now causes more stress than pleasure for me, so I’m going to take a long break.

Been revealed today the Southport incident is going to be treated as a terror offence and that he had been investing Ricin to use. The BBC report states the police are not treating it as a terror offence as there is no motive? What report are you referencing?
