Aren’t the mini ones cute! When you compare the look of these to the Wright offering they are streets ahead.

The E100EV looks amazing, I'm glad they have increased the headroom space in the lower deck of the E400EV. However, I presume the 11.1m length would prevent quite a few orders in London, unless the turning circle is miles better than the BYD based E400EV. I'd imagine a combined order for the S2 and 439 is on the cards.

I'd imagine a combined order for the S2 and 439 is on the cards. The S2 can take 10.2m buses so I can't see why they would order 9m single door buses for the route. I suspect they will be ordered for the 439, and there will potentially be a large order soon for the Orpington R routes.

Apologies if I'm wrong but the routeing between St Heliers Hospital and Sutton is quite tight, is it not?

There are some tight turns but not bad enough to limit the S2 to 9m buses - the S4 is only limited to 9m buses due to tight turns in Carshalton Beeches and Roundshaw.

Splendid interior on thr Enviro100ev. The front seats reminds me of the classic enviro200 when they had the front two seats sideways. Nice for them to bring that back.

It's just 0.2m longer than the current BYD version, and only a small number of routes so far have failed the test for those (200, 363, etc). I do wonder though why both versions of the E400EV are longer than the Streetdeck, Metrodecker etc.

I expect the more rounded front is adding the extra 20cm to the E400EV over the City design.

Nice promotional stuff by ADL, it’s the quality I’ll judge these by.

Stagecoach has fifty-five E400 EV on order for Oxford and Transdev Blazefield has ordered nineteen for Harrogate-Leeds route 36.

ADL vehicles usually look very nice but the practically doesn’t always meet the same levels, particularly when it comes to rear seating space

Nothing against the EV400, but why would London want or need a van devired minibus?
