it's not an area of London where you'd expect stuff like that happening. Mind you nowhere is safe now, there are stabbings everywhere these days

It's hard to see anything other than a full life tariff for what she's done, to look at her you would think butter wouldn't melt. I wonder if she'll ever give any sort of explanation for her actions?

I doubt she will explain herself but I read somewhere that she had a tough birth. Edit: Found this from the Daily Mail www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12286545/amp/Lucy-Letby-Killer-nurse-wrote-notes-confessing-evil-did-murdering-babies.htmlApparently she said 'i killed them on purpose because I am not good enough to care for them' and 'i will never marry or know what it's like to have a family ' It does strike me as strange for her to say this, something probably happened to her as a baby/child, but I think her motives are relatively unknown.

I hope she gets stabbed to death in prison when she inevitably gets moved to Bronzefield. I don’t care what anybody says she deserves to die for what she did to those innocent children and their parents. I am not a parent but it broke my heart reading some of their stories and the aftermath on their lives.

If this happened in the USA she'd be given a death sentence. Not too keen on reintroducing the death penalty but this is one case where it would be worth it.

I'm not entirely comfortable with the death penalty and I wouldn't advocate it in this case, it's obviously not going to change what has happened and it's unlikely to deter anybody else contemplating such a thing because nobody in their right mind would contemplate doing such a thing. I'd also have some sympathy for the parents of Lucy Letby and I can understand them finding it difficult to comprehend that their daughter has committed these heinous crimes. I think justice has been served today although former nurse Beverly Allitt who murdered four children is now eligible for parole although it seems unlikely that she will ever be released. Investigations are continuing as to whether Lucy Letby is responsible for other deaths.

Agree, as a nation we are too gobbled up with political correctness than actually getting things done which is why things are as bad as they are

Where I’d agree is with sentences being too lenient. In this case, life without parole is absolutely spot on IMO.
