This statement just raises a lot more questions for him. It just screams as someone so desperate to get ahead of a story. This just saves face by portraying him as a good person who helped a friend but a lot is left unaddressed. I cannot believe any crisis management or publicist would allow him to release this unless there are even juicier stories dangling out there ready to be released. |

It's almost a Jimmy Savile mk II but they didn't say the age of the victim. I would not be surprised his wife knew. I think now there is possibly a lot more to it. Usually is with many of these celebs as they think they are untouchable. A bit of a shame sadly. |

Who knows what was going on with her, but my read into it is that if I knew my friend had - how to put this politely - an ‘interest’ in young people I’d literally run a mile from them, especially if I had children. There’s no way (I don’t think) you could keep it under wraps and still look them in the eye or even be around them. If that’s true and he had no idea she definitely does not deserve getting flack for this or having her career ruined because of it. If she did know … well she’s just as bad. |

The word teenager is mentioned so depending on whether you believe it's legal or illegal, it could be either 16-18 or 13-18 - adult is usually classed as 18 upwards. Not sure I'd agree it's a Jimmy Saville Mk II unless more revelations come out, regardless of the truth surrounding the Schofield situation. Jimmy Saville had umpteen victims spanning decades upon decades whereas so far, it's one affair that we know about that we currently have little information to go on outside of the other person being a teenager - I'm sure the situation will become clearer one way or the other as time progresses. Just for clarification, I've no opinion on this either way. |

I think that This Morning needs a revamp. Get rid of Holly too, after all she did controversial things like jump the queue. I wouldn't be surprised if she knew about Phillip's affair, especially as McGreevy was on the show a lot. This video says it all: youtube.com/shorts/x8HnDFnCkxg?feature=shareIt shows that Phillip is very creepy, especially 'see you in three years' (not sure when this was filmed but if it was in 2020 then perhaps it's a reference to the fact that he was going to be exposed three years later' Then he says 'if I am still getting away with it I will be a happy man' This is a very scary remark to make and may imply that he has other victims. It does seem quite similar to the Jimmy Savile case especially as Savile constantly bragged about his crimes. Schofield also claimed his relationship was 'unwise but not illegal' which may suggest that he's trying to cover up his actions. Not sure how old the boy was when they first had a relationship but I believe he was of age of consent. They have an age gap of 34 years which is very scary. |

I think now the ultimate question is, if he lied 3 years ago about not being in a relationship with the boy, then what else has he lied about. The ultimate worry would be if something did happen when the boy was 15 and they are lying about it. It would look like to some people that he groomed him, especially after the incident with his brother.
