139: last gained new buses in January 2010 but it only gained them in October of that same with the 60 reg TEs / TEHs. Then it 61 reg TEHs to make it fully TEH. Then it was given the 13’s contract and took its existing VHs (both Gemini 2s and 3s) and VHRs (I don’t know why the 139 wasn’t withdrawn considering it’s contract had come to the end, the 13 didn’t retained its contract and the 82 kept its number 🙄 but oh well). Then in 2020 it was won by Metroline with existing and new buses bus the new buses never materialised or arrived.

So now we can say the last time the 238 got new vehicles on tender was in 2012. Wowsers. Still waiting for the 97 result now. Just checked, it was September 1981 the 97 got brand new Titan's (nearly 42 years ago!)

Virtually almost as bad as the 97 Were the H-reg Dominators new for the 97 or were they transferred in from DM? No they could not have been new. I think some were new for the 248 and other Romford area routes, they were all in Ensign Blue & Silver livery new in January 1991. They were transferred to [NP] in 1991 from [DM] when the 97 was lost by London Forest and Capital Citybus was created.

So, basically, the 97 has never had new vehicles when retendered. Must be a record for London

Must be a record for London The closest that the 97 has seen new vehicles in the recent years would have been those MMC's new in 2018 for the 241, 330 & 474 with the 97 has seen regular stray MMC workings ever since they were brand new and they still do to this day.

It has seen stry new vehicles over the years i.e. those for the 91 (new TN's), route 67, 341 (Olympians), route 76, 259 (Dennis Arrows)

When was the last time the 329 got new buses? Has it ever gotten new buses? The last time that the 329 was awarded with new buses was in 2013 and DWs were ordered but I believe that they was diverted to WN for the 144 for the exchange of its T’s.

The current T buses were new for the 329. The orders of DW and T were switched before delivery to [WN] and [AD] Even the blind set control units were initially setup as Wood Green T and Palmers Green DW and some other parts on the buses internally labelled IIRC So the 329 did get a full allocation of brand new E400 instead of DB300

That is correct, so the Ts that converted the 329 were not brand new.
However the 329 has had new buses twice. S-reg DLAs were delivered new to AD for route 102 but failed a route test, so were allocated to the 329 instead. Then around 2002-2003 AD gradually became an all-VLW garage using new buses, with the DLAs moving elsewhere.

I see. So thanks for the correction.
