You can't compare Cataracts to Glaucoma, Glaucoma affects peripheral vision which is where the offending screens are while Cataracts just obscure vision and do not result in peripheral vision loss. Not my experience thank you. I know how the cataracts affected my vision. The fact is the screens work for the majority of wheelchair users and provide more information than other forward facing units and there are announcements for the tiny minority who you think can't see them. If you're trying to say your Cataracts killed off your peripheral vision you should probably go and see an Opthalmologist, it's like someone trying to say that catching a cold broke their leg. There's a reason only one operator has put a screen in this obscure position while all the others haven't.

Have the GB Kites finally arrived onto the E7? Nope, still MMC's on the E7 It’s hopefully looking like it shouldn’t be long now. More and more of the E5’s intended MetroCities are heading to GW every day

381s new Electroliners are all over the place and not on their intended route the 381. Possibly in relation to the U5 as the type has been said to have returned to that route, abeit with some 24 platers today

A block of four U5 BYDs haven’t been used since yesterday

Have to ask what’s up with the blinds on transport uk buses based at DH and GW every other bus has a faulty blind espically at the front, is this poor maintenance or cost cutting in not repairing or replacing??

TUK’s blind situation especially over in the west is frankly abominable. I photographed an E11 apparently going to Surbiton last Sunday. Then 9521 was on the 207 (with a new style thicker font for the number so it was a new blind!!), the number was screwed up, the destination blind just had TUK’s logo and the back blind said 427. It’s to the point where a fully correctly blinded bus is rarer than one with botched blinding I would imagine blind delays have something to do with it, there’s only one blind manufacturer now. Since the company became TUK they seem to have just become cowboys

Since the company became TUK they seem to have just become cowboys I got on an Ealing bound E7 last month and only the front was displaying E5 😆 probably just a techno glisht with the smart blind but wondering how that would have been achieved (if ever) was amusing to say the least.

I've also been seeing 345s with faulty blinds on an almost daily basis, it's getting ridiculous at this point. WL do seem to be a bit better at least but they've also been having issues They may upgrade those older kits to LEDs like what's ongoing with the depot's older MMCs
