Three of the U5’s BYDs are now over at WL Not quite sure what's happening but it looks like the U5 is receiving Electroliners with the 381 taking on a part allocation of BYD E400s. Wonder if this is to standardise them all in one place?

I’d love to know what the heck is going on with the electric double deckers right now, the U5 is now as good as fully Electroliner operated
I’m gonna hazard a guess they’re wanting to concentrate the BYDs all at WL, no idea why as they run the U5 with no issues as far as I know. Maybe to simplify the maintenance of buses in West London by keeping everything as one type over there?

The 133 is now running with more Electroliners than other types. Once the changeover is complete I think the 381 will get more.

Hm interesting, the BYDs must have been deemed suitable after all then. The saga continues with all of the U5’s BYD’s now at WL with the U5 receiving a total jumble of Electroliners. I presume this will all settle down once the 111 stops using its extra 24-reg, but I’d love to know the sudden switch that’s caused all these busical chairs and why they ultimately want to run the U5 with electroliners

The ‘temporary-ness’ of the transfer I presume then is dependent on the DH chargers being adapted to charge the BYDs to the same standard as WL’s
