14 - The Harrods (just because it passes the department store, while the store also uses this number for its signature tea blend)

97 My right hand route. (Partially grew up with this route) 215 The right hand assistant (Also grew up with it too and is a good alternative to the 97 despite the 20 minute frequency) 357 The quiet right hand assistance no.2 (Is more frequent than the 215 yet I See less passengers on it. Could pass for SD’s all week except for Mon-Sat Peak times) 379 Drysdale n Yardley hoppa bus 313 Boris Getaway (The further route out of London with Borismasters) 444 The electric snake (Slivers through the Lea Valley district via the A406 linking Turnpike Lane to Chingford with them 12m electric buses) 381/N381 Tour de Salt (Tours around Salter Road just to get to Rotherhithe from Canada Water- with C10 going similar way too) 113/N113 Edgware Express (Call it the SL113 if you will😅) N26 Chingford’s Night Rider N158 Chingfords Night Rider’s new buddy

Or route 66 - the route to get your kicks on. Similarly, route 50 the Barbados route. The song Barbados features the lyric "I've seen too much of Brixton town in the night", then albeit many years later route 50 was diverted away from Brixton.

The previous route 26 was withdrawn from Victoria in 1978 then withdrawn altogether in 1991. A new route 26 was created in 1992 which was then diverted to Victoria earlier this year.

49 Chelsea Tractor 23 El Porto 228 Grover 85 Highwayman K3 The Good Life I consider route 49 to be the August Bank Holiday route. At the age of 17 I was so taken aback by news of an RM on route 49 toppling over that I rode it later that month, on the August Bank Holiday. I then saw if not rode it on some subsequent August Bank Holidays as it intersected with several other West End routes with Sunday & Bank Holiday variations. I even rode it on August Bank Holiday 2021 as it provided a convenient connection, and I preferred it with Abellio to its imminent revised operator RATP. I was of course unable to ride it on August Bank Holiday 2019. Leaving aside the technicality that I was not in that area of London, that was the day of my Metroline and Go-Ahead London feast.
