149 = Scumfournine..... As the drivers at AR call it due to the people that use it Basically what the 109 would be called down here if it had a nickname

Yeah, there are a lot of routes often rammed to the door - but 25 was a whole other level of packed. Two journeys on the 25 I will point out: - Coming back from Luton (this is from 2014) missed the last tube by a fair bit (at Baker Street). An N18 was due in 5 min so jumped into it till Oxford Circus. Got into a 25 around 2am (this was when there was a bus every 5 min and had just missed the previous bus) - bus was heaving by TCR and we were leaving people behind! - My last end to end in 2018 in the week it was hacked back from Oxford Circus. Took an evening peak bus at around 16:30 (eastbound) from Oxford Circus. There was a bus 100m in front and another 300m behind (I could see both) after great titchfield street. The one in front of us was full by TCR and not stopping to pick passengers. Ours was full and didn’t stop between TCR and Aldgate to pick passengers (like the one in front of us!) leaving the 3rd bus to pick up some people if they could get on. Took 2 hr 20 min end to end but bus was heaving throughout !! No other bus route gets remotely close You must have travelled during the weekend on the first trip, as the 8 minute frequency during weeknights was more bearable. During the weekends though, it was an absolute lottery if you were to board an eastbound bus. A bus every 6 minutes yet still you could be waiting up to 4 times as long to board a 25 during the night. Daytime was no better; the ultimate demise in the 25's length, the CS2 works, actually made it more pleasant to use the 25 as passengers had left in droves by then. Before say 2016, the 25 was a clown car with the ridiculous amount of people onboard each bus.

It was actually on a Thursday and I must admit I don’t remember what the exact frequency was after all these years (but less than every 10 min for sure!)

I would say H91 - Journey to the West (A4 is the great west road and it terminates at Hounslow West, and it picks up people at different places to get to hounslow west) 107 - Horseshoe (The routing shape) 131/250 - When Copy and Paste went wrong(a replica of 57/109 with only slight modifications)

386 - Blackheath Sightseeing Given how the routing goes around various corners of Blackheath, and even passes the Blackheath Village terminus twice on each direction

386 - Blackheath Sightseeing Given how the routing goes around various corners of Blackheath, and even passes the Blackheath Village terminus twice on each direction Yep! I called it "the earthquake simulator" because of how bumpy the ride can be from Royal Standard to Woolwich, especially in Stagecoach days when they ran rattly 58/09-reg E200 Darts!

Route 2 could be the Shakespeare route, as it used to be numbered 2B.

The 11-reg SENs on the route now are not much better to be fair...
