I am not sure who’s responsible for the mess they are making on Silvertown Way but that’s going to make congestion worse and this is likely to be a key route towards the tunnel. I looked at Canning Town bus station again today and do suspect it will become one way in and one way out adding to journey times. All in the same of making cycling a priority. Don't worry we have 4 more years of Mayor who will prioritie cycling over bus users so I'm sure the bus station will be awful before long. Lets be fair, do you really think Hall would of prioritised buses either? I know she bizarrely hired a RM to spread her anti ULEZ message but what makes you think buses suddenly would of shot to the top of the list under her?

Probably removed some cycle priority that would have benefitted bus users. All we have to look forward to now is more congestion and slower journeys. Reap what you seed!

The trouble is being anti motorist can have a detrimental effect on buses aswell. The Streatham LTN must be the best example of that coupled with buses having to run only 20mph and bus lanes becoming cycle lanes. Iv felt more in recent times alot of Kens good work got undone by Ken.

I didn't seed anything to even reap in the first place.

I agree with that but my point was there was nothing in her manifesto that stood out and said I will prioritise buses more than Khan - had she done so, maybe more votes from Inner London would of been gained. She would of likely did a few pro car things & ignored the buses leaving bus passengers as ignored as ever.

I think routes 240 & 340 could be merged into a single Golders Green to Harrow via Edgware and Harrow Weald route. As route 15 is so short, it could merge with route 115 and return to East Ham. With the amount of traffic both the 15 and 115 have to endure, this wouldn't work out well

What was also bizarre was that the RM had 157 in the route number. I don't think route 157 ever worked RMs.

Definitely do not want any changes on 115 as it is quick and reliable. I suspect TfL will wait and see what impact the Silvertown tunnel has on surrounding area including Blackwall Tunnel and demand generally before making any changes which I would say will include most services in Canning Town. I am not sure who’s responsible for the mess they are making on Silvertown Way but that’s going to make congestion worse and this is likely to be a key route towards the tunnel. I looked at Canning Town bus station again today and do suspect it will become one way in and one way out adding to journey times. All in the name of making cycling a priority. I believe that it will maintain its two entrances but the entrance from the south (Silvertown Way) will become more of a left turn instead of straight entrance. This is what the plans showed.

That’s good to know. Do you happen to have links to the plans? I found some plans via this link pclengagement-hub.co.uk/en-GB/projects/royaldockscorridor/1 . You would think that it would be on Newham page but just random information about the works there but no links to plans! The station section is covered by Character Area 1.

These schemes look good on paper but the new plant areas are already full of litter before a plant has been planted. These schemes just end up messy / overgrown and unloved as there is usually no ongoing maintenance contracts.

I wonder the 247 & 294 could be merged into one route to run between Noak Hill & Barkingside, which would remove some capacity between Romford & Collier Row. I would divert the 252 to Havering Park via the existing 294 & because there is now free stand space at Collier Row, the popular suggestion of extending the 62 there could be introduced.

By rerouting the 252 you sever local links from Mawney Road and parts of Havering Park to Colliers Row, so you are really just robbing Peter to pay Paul. Is there not space simply to extend the 62 anyway? Maybe take out a few parking bays.
