The 73 & 476 merged together in that form is too long as has been previously discussed - running time would be over 100 minutes which is far from ideal. Not even TfL would be foolish to do that The 257 & 357 would surely overbus the 357's current routing beyond Chingford Hatch not to mention the amount of congestion the current 257 has to put up with which would surely worsen reliability on the 357's current section Is Meridian water further then what was called Northumberland Park Tesco or is it same place? I know I was being called Angel Road Superstores aswell for a bit Earlier this year, I alighted a train at Meridian Water Station and walked to the nearest bus stop to catch a 192. The stop is called "Meridian Water Station" on Glover Drive that is located behind "Tesco Extra Lea Valley". Not being local unsure of previous or 'local' names of the supermarket...according to Tesco's website there's a Tesco Express adjacent to Northumberland Park Station.

That's just the Station though. There is a whole area being regenerated to the rear of the Tesco which will eventually have up to 10,000 homes. They will need bus links!

Plus the amount of visitors the area is projected to receive - it will definitely need a lot more bus links than what is already there - I can see the Greater Anglia line out of there getting very overcrowded once the redevelopment has been completed!

I doubt it and think it is over exaggerated by many on here. What makes you think droves of people are going to be heading for the train station to go into the city to work a 9-5. Pre-covid this was understandable, but the world has changed. Even still, on the other side of the A406 there are lots of homes and it is only served by the 192 and 34/444 if you walk down to the A406

We will just have to wait and see what will be in the Meridian Water bus consultation when it opens. Thought it would have happened by now!
