The 292 to HD seemed a strange one to me, I would have thought the 107 to PB where it's operated from before and where there will be quite a bit of spare capacity might be a better option? I also wondered whether the new Alperton garage is really needed with so much spare capacity elsewhere although there might be other factors involved. Having this spare capacity means they have room for future gains. Metroline have lost a few routes in the Wembley area and would like to get a few of back in the future.

Well they must be quite optimistic given all the spare capacity they have including HZ.

I could also see a situation where Harrow Weald might close. It's a relatively small garage in a constrained space with no scope for expansion, and Metroline might decide it is not worth electrifying. The site may have a small bus stand constructed and the rest sold off for housing development. If that were to happen the replacement for ON would come into its own, it could take on the 182 from HD at the very least.

I'm honestly not sure what they've been swapped for, as you can see there I had a head scratching moment, and with those 10 plates you never really know haha. VW1829 went with 1831.

Yeah that's very true, they certainly like to keep us bus enthusiasts on our toes haha. That's good to hear that VW1829 has also transferred over as that means there's now 3 unrefurbished ex-first VWs on the 83, my favourite VWs 🙂

I why VW1841 wasn’t refurbished and repainted with the other 83 / 483 VWs.
