TfL may think otherwise but who knows. Wasn’t the 190 awarded with ex235 DELs. If iso how do metro line get away with those tatty VWs on the route? Saw a couple in Richmond yesterday. Must be the noisiest battered machines in London at the present time. I mean the MMC refurbishment is probably worse than the VWs if we are honest, the DELs all over Metroline-Style Yomato refurb could be mistaken for a whole new type thought up by a kid with a colouring book. They don’t even look like MMCs anymore they look cheap I don’t mind the RATP ones as they kept th windows with the black, the red surrounds only look okay but Metroline went all out tomato and committed crime on the window surrounds which can be only described as an atrocity.

It was awarded with DEL's and they did initially run on the route but the DEL's were required temporarily elsewhere on the 316 at WJ until it's electrics arrive. Once they arrive, I presume the 190 will receive it's DEL's back unless TfL decides to do something such as making the double deck allocation permanent. I don't think the VW's are that bad at all personally but just my opinion. What was the reason for them being needed on the 316? I can't remember why they came to be needed there.

They came for the 228 not the 316.

I seen 190 getting passengers I think it should. Be permanent. Maybe Hybrids near future TfL may think otherwise but who knows. when 90 98 4 113s electric buses entry all them routes hybrids be available 190 only needs 10 buses. And enough for 266 temporary hybrids I predict 81 and 190 be hybrids

Completely agree. And I find it very weird certain buses avoided said refurbishments i.e. DEL2155 to 2156, some of the 17-red VWHs at PV, etc.

And I find it very weird certain buses avoided said refurbishments i.e. DEL2155 to 2156, some of the 17-red VWHs at PV, etc. Those were done at Thorntons which retain the black parts.

The Metroline component of the 481's PVR has indeed increased to 7, as of today, with the single Whitton, Ashley Drive* Metroline working (VWH2309) being the new addition. Previously no Metroline/RATP services entered the school grounds in the morning. VWH2699 appears to be working the regular journey which calls at all standard 481 stops but is timed to meet the school rush. So this means 4 buses now serve Turing House School in the morning, before anyone says otherwise this is very much needed. Hopefully it'll be a similar story in the afternoons. Although, having said that, why is it running as it is an inset day? *last public stop served before Turing House School, next stop is inside school grounds. Attachments:
