The Metroline component of the 481's PVR has indeed increased to 7, as of today, with the single Whitton, Ashley Drive* Metroline working (VWH2309) being the new addition. Previously no Metroline/RATP services entered the school grounds in the morning. VWH2699 appears to be working the regular journey which calls at all standard 481 stops but is timed to meet the school rush. So this means 4 buses now serve Turing House School in the morning, before anyone says otherwise this is very much needed. Hopefully it'll be a similar story in the afternoons. Although, having said that, why is it running as it is an inset day? *last public stop served before Turing House School, next stop is inside school grounds. The afternoon already has a Metroline-operated schooday-only journey - 15.16 from Hospital Bridge Road (Montrose Avenue) to Kingston. londonbusroutes.net shows the Metroline-operated school journeys as terminating/starting at Montrose Avenue and not going into the school grounds, I don't know if that reflects reality. www.londonbusroutes.net/times/481.htm

Also interesting titbit from the site, is that Wrights are bodying B8Ls for Hong Kong. Does this suggest the Wright - Volvo differences have been reconsiled?

Everything off the boat in Hong Kong now seems to be MCV-bodied (the new BZL look) -- featuring KMB's heritage livery -- yet to be registered and put into service.
The most recent G3-bodied B8L's arrived in 2023 from an order made in 2021.

The thumbnail looks like the bus is in the KMB livery rather than the Long Win livery of orange, grey and white. You can see a couple of Long Win liveried buses at the beginning of the video. The registration starting ZL indicates it is brand new

I believe the differences were settled a while back; there are some 2020 and 2022 Volvo Geminis with some independents around the county; one is Saunders in Norfolk.

With the appearances of WDE on the 4 I assume it’s going to get WDEs until the BDEs arrive. Question where are the WDEs coming from will it get the WDEs meant for the 113 or the WDEs on the 113 or the remaining WDEs meant for the 83 and 297 that are still in storage? I wonder will happen to the VMHs on both the 4 and 113.
