Do you know if any confirmed news on where the Fast track will start from next month. Dartford or Bexleyheath.

Will the 473 transfer to DS soon when it converts to Electric?

It looks now that it has been confirmed that the 624,625 and 658 will transferring to Morden Wharf on the 6th January the start of the Spring term and the 51 and 244 will be transferring on the 11th January to make space for the 99,269 and 401 according to London bus routes service changes page.

I'm glad the 486 isn't moving. The new 188 electric vehicles contract starts next month which presumably means a move back to Q. Will the 108 move too? Have additional chargers been installed at NX?

Technically if NX or SW's takes time to receive chargers, or start electrification, I have a feeling that the BD11s could be diverted to DS and RR given that both garages are electrified and would be capable of releasing buses potentially for the 217 in November if needed.
It's already been mentioned that EBD1 - EBD17 are apparently in the UK, and the PVR of the 101 and 473 are 9 buses so they could be shared between the two. Obviously Go Ahead would probably only do this if they absolutely need to, unless they choose to use the WVLs displaced from the 157/D7, despite the 200 using the majority of its buses.

RR is not even ready for the 325 electrics so doubt they will be ready to take electric double deckers in November. The 217 needs around 12 double deckers it’s really not going to be that hard to find them. The 262 released around 11 buses when it converted to electric a few months ago.

Why is it ok for the 59 reg buses to downgrade the 200 but the 217 can’t use them? If anything there will probably be a shuffle around within Go Ahead. I suspect the 217 will use E400s.

Do you understand the phrase “operational independence”? The Met should be seen to make operational decisions based on requests from the Mayor or other politicians especially when they declined after finding no evidence of a threat to her in the UK. It’s even worse when you consider both the Home Secretary, hiding behind her husband, and the Mayor were hospitality guests of her label Universal. If you cannot see how bad this looks you deserve every lie, every tax increase and every u-turn that will continue to happen until the next general election. I understand the phrase operational independence, but I do not believe in it. If it were true, how come very few MPs were fined for Partygate when there were a reported 118 parties in Downing Street? And The Met would've known, seen and scanned the suitcases of Chablis coming through the security gates. Growing up is realising everyone is in each other's pockets. As aforementioned, the optics of not offering a global superstar protection would've been much worse. It was afforded to Huw Edwards, why not her? Anyways, this is far off topic and I've already used the 232 segway. Happy to talk about GAL putting RR garage codes on their buses for the first time if you wish; seeing them on the 147 is like seeing a unicorn in real life. The 232 Streetlites, like Taylor, are Swift Let's see what variety of deckers arrive for the 217. I hope they are getting blinds as I notice a lot of EC drivers not even bothering to swap the slipboard desto on return from Waltham X / Turnpike Lane

If the 217 gets the 147's E, then no doubt it'll be commonplace. There is a chance though that the WVLs off the D7 (WVL422-434) can be shipped into NP, which operationally has never really had any problems. I doubt GAL are going to reblind any other buses at NP, and with 50 odd electric buses with easily re-programmable LED displays, there isn't much of an excuse for banditry to happen. But hey, they haven't run the 217 yet so I'll keep my glass half full for now.

The first ones with LEDs were the 119/264 72 reg batch.

Go Ahead have blinded other buses that have covered late electric delivery loan buses so can see them blinding the 217 buses from day one. One thing they are guilty of is bandit buses that got used occasionally like what happened on the 262 and 473.
