You get similar circumstances in all jobs working with the public. In retail I've had all kinds of verbal abuse for refusing the sale of alcohol to young people without ID for example. There are just a lot of scummy people out there that are happy to ruin everyone's working day. I saw the most ridiculous thing today at Harrow on the Hill tube. A LU driver, a black chap with short dreadlocks, was walking down the platform when another black man started abusing him. He was saying he was a disgrace and a "stereotype". Needless to say things got a little heated as the "discussion" continued. Eventually a train arrived so the man who started the row got on the train. I heard the driver say the other bloke "needed an education". I was astonished that a row would break out based purely on appearance and what was seemingly considered "acceptable". That's the sort of thing you expect teenagers to indulge in given they like their style "cliques" but adults?? He sounds like Grandpa from the Simpsons, shaking his fist because he is angry at a cloud.

Geoff Marshall has posted a video about those bus moving announcements on his channel. He spoke to a guy at Golders Green who had posted some tongue-in-cheek tweets that had gone viral. That’s plenty of bus spotting to be done in the background for those that get bored youtu.be/s7GT4tFgLuM

I was thinking about routes with the most double runs. 186: Harrow Bus Station, Edgware Bus Station, Mill Hill Broadway Station, Quakers Course (4 in total) 224: Alperton Sainsbury's, Iveagh Avenue, Central Middlesex Hospital, Brent Park IKEA Area (4 in total) 410: Wallington Station, Towpath Way, Christie Drive (3 in total)
Are there anymore routes with numerous double runs, like the above the routes?

K5 has 3 sections done in same direction Cromwell Road, Eden Street and Circle Gardens, even has 2 double splits in map tfl.gov.uk/bus/route/k5/

Eh? I can sort of see the 224 serving Alperton Sainsburys as a double run (one that drove me mad when I did the 224 end to end - took nearly 30 mins to serve Sainsburys!) but serving stations or hospitals is just being sensible even if buses do a little loop. The alternative is to leave people to schlep to stops out of sight. By your definition every through route that serves Walthamstow Central Station or Tottenham Hale Bus Station is doing a double run. By my defintion they are providing a properly integrated transport service by getting people where they need to go or affording convenient and safe interchange.
