Clearly TfL having given up hope on themselves now:
I mean, what do you say to this? π

Clearly TfL having given up hope on themselves now: I mean, what do you say to this? π Doesn't surprise me, too many numpties at TfL who haven't got a clue. Too much people in a job with no passion for it, imo that is embarrassing, its not surprise the network is losing more people on a daily basis.

Clearly TfL having given up hope on themselves now: I mean, what do you say to this? π Ignoring that absolute monumental mistake, it's also ironic that a 'time to get back on the bus' campaign is being done when the network is being ripped to shreds

Clearly TfL having given up hope on themselves now: I mean, what do you say to this? π To coin a certain Geordie colloquial phrase - "Hadaway and Sh*te" In other words (TfL, not you Nathan) Go Away! It is grossly embarrassing on so many fronts - lack of knowledge, lack of checking / proof reading (for the 9,000th time) and a waste of scarce public funds on a useless advert. How that ever got as far as being placed in a local newspaper I will never know. It should never have got off the originator's desk. It is also worth considering that the route may actually be the 397 and not the 20 in terms of "Walthamstow to Debden".

Clearly TfL having given up hope on themselves now: I mean, what do you say to this? π You really couldn't make this up, heads need to roll! People need to be fired! π I mean not only did the person who made it not check the information properly but someone else must have given this a final sign off. Truly amazing. I just can't even...

Clearly TfL having given up hope on themselves now: I mean, what do you say to this? π Now imagine TFL were actually literal about this... good luck to those that use the H98 now Surely they should be professional and recognise that H98 is in fact nowhere near East London*. *an understatement in itself.

I can't imagine such incompetence being tolerated in any other walk of life. I suppose a campaign to get people back onto buses is commendable but talk about shooting yourself in the foot! I'm surprised nobody at the Uxbridge Gazette questioned the advert but then again why should they care if they are getting paid for it?

Are you holding your breath for a grovelling apology? It would be good to see some humility from tfl, but...........

Well as you mentioned they get paid - and maybe someone there believes in public transport and didnβt want to pass on this opportunity to highlight this βtinyβ error!

At a time when TFL are pleading poverty, how many were printed and at what cost?

Clearly TfL having given up hope on themselves now: I mean, what do you say to this? π I thought that the geordie expression related to a firm of Newcastle insurance brokers - that is what I was told when I asked a motorist for his insurance details. (Sorry - old joke!) You really couldn't make this up, heads need to roll!

Looks like another bus stop needlessly closed off? They look at wayyy bigger picture usually with these bus stop closures sometimes nothing may be happening around it but if the area is congested and especially since it mentions temporary traffic lights etc, a bus stop serving stop during the 'green' flag could just cause a massive bottleneck. Of course not the case with every closure but they normally try to see the consequences few minor roads apart in all directions and realize where and how do pedestrians/bus passengers behave, it could be one of those stops where people mass-rush across the road as soon as stop is served and so on, 'overtaking' van or something might not see that and so on...

I've not been there myself but the comments on twitter seem to say it all especially the one about drivers on the 63 having no idea why the stop is closed. Sounds for all the world like another dogs dinner to me?
