No worries, Just wondered Would just be my luck that I've used the branch twice in the last couple of months and its been a 315 Will have to try 'bash' that then, Got a soft spot for them and the branch after getting a cab ride on a 321 on it ;D Think it was a 318/8 operating it today but yes, as posted by RM5Chris in this very thread (previous page ) the Upminster diagram is worked by a 317. Severking, which interior are you on about? They currently have two sets of 321's on the system now. The original GER ones which received the First refurb with the green seating and blue handrails/poles plus the ex-Silverlink ones with the blue seating or almost original Network SouthEast interior ;D Either way it's a 321 so I'm happy ;D

mate I just remember it being grubby, but I guess that's years of hard slog with no real refresh... After the newer 360s took over it was relegated to the Walton line... It wasn't coping well with the Circa 1957 overhead wiring in Colchester Town and there were a lot of worrying pops and bangs from the pantograph .... Saying that, the new Overground trains do the same thing @ Willesden Jct and Camden Road ;D It was defo an ex-GER one with fancy white band (why when they re-branded they did such a half-arsed job I'll never know ), I think there's only two train sets in the Silverlink livery, I've mostly seen them on the Southend Victoria / Southminster line So we'll see the NXEA name gradually disappear from the trains and stations. But knowing how hard they work at branding, this won't happen ;D

It seems NXEA are tarting up the stations on the West Anglia. I have noticed the paint cans out at both PON and TOM over the past couple of days!

Just thought I'd mention it on here. Had 321424 coming on Platform 5 in Startford this evening and I was amazed about the refurbished it got.

Well it had blue seating and the flooring then had yellow bars on the seat. Try to get a picture of it next time I can. Only reason I didn't video record it cause of the bloody BTP Officer on board..

That's not a refurb. That was the interior of the Silverlink 321's. Much nicer actually if you ask me to the one First installed on the GER 321's. Reminds me of the old NSE interior they used to have

I travelled from Platform 8 at Stratford last night and noticed the signage on the platforms is in New Johnston and has the National Express logo in the top right. Also, a number of various classes of trains were coming through in old and new liveries, all fully logo'd up.
On the journey into work today however, I spotted some plain white stock where you can see the grey bars have been removed. There were also some 315's with both the National Express and East Anglia removed. Strange!

Not sure if this is related, but yesterday I picked up a National Rail map for the London & South East region, and this was also in New Johnston font.

I knew SouthEastern briefly used the Johnston font a while back - remember seeing it on their first class carriages- esp. on the 'Networker' class 465's su31, were there other platform signs you noticed in this font? Would've thought only the Overground platforms would have this

Walthamstow Central NR Platforms are getting a refresh; lighting columns being taken down and repainted; is this a sign of things to come!?
