South Korea are doing really well so far! Yeah but against Uruguay, they need to be careful at the back. Still they've got a decent chance to go further

The second round is looking very good IMO. So far we have; South Korea v Uruguay Ghana v USA Mexico v Argentina Germany v England Shame it has happened so early, but the biggest rivalry in International football is a game not to underestimate, especially as we beat them the last time we both played. Last competitive match also goes to England, 5-1 at Munich during the 2002 qualifiers. In fact, it was the Saturday before 9/11!! Also, last tournament win ALSO goes to England with a 1-0 win at Euro 2000, courtesy of an Alan Shearer header

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and say England WILL beat Germany!!! A lot of the 'big' teams just don't seem to be performing. Take the Italians against the Kiwi's, I thought that was an excellent game. I reckon England will scrape a one goal victory either 1-0 or 2-1. Then its just a matter of Argentina................... I think the Yanks will make the 1/4's too, I've been impressed by their performances.

And Italy are out! What's going on with the two finalist teams in the previous World Cup? The Italians are always horrible to watch, all they do is play 23-5-1 formation and dive and cheat. They have no class, no Totti, no Cassano, no Del Peiro, no fit Pirlo. As for the French, they deserve to go after cheating my beloved Ireland out of a world cup place. France bettered their record of the 2002 World Cup where they went out of the group stage without scoring a goal ;D. The only positive they have is that Raymond 'Why the hell did France appoint him as their manager' Dominech is no loner coach.

Italy really were up against a team that were doing everything they could to stop them playing full stop and by any means!! Was alot like watching England v Italy in that respect ;D vjaska, watch what you say!! Remember, me and lc1 could quite easily ban you

England have too much pressure put onto them by the expectant fans. The one thing hanging around every squad members neck is a chain with 1966 on it. I haven't seen anything in this world cup for England to be scared of if i'm honest. Yet we still won't get to the final because the squad can't play as a team and forget their domestic rivalries. That is the simple reason England will never win anything!!

I reckon that the players put too much pressure on themselves, not to mention the large amounts of fans who are very arrogant about England and them winning the world cup. It really annoys me when they go on like they've won it before it's started. Everyone was going on how it was an excellent win for England but a team like England should be doing far better. The only positive for them is they didn't do a 'France' or 'Italy' ;D

If we lose, the opening two games will come in for question again. If we win, then it's business as usual. Either way, come 17:00 tomorrow, we'll know which it'll be!!

South Korea has been knocked out by Uruguay 2-1. Oh well, I've got Japan as my second choice!
