Was looking at Quality Lines site to see if it had any details of K5 which they take over in about 12 days, nothing yet, but it does have news item of a service to Liverpool which must make it longest distance service operated from a garage maintaining London buses even if it is a National Express route www.epsomcoaches.com/allnews.php

Quality Lines new Solos have manual blinds as I saw OP31 being changed at Ham yesterday at K5 stand, the driver opened the blind box from inside and seemed to wind something.
Annoyingly (for the driver) Ham isn't next to Mordon, the (very rarely used intermediate points : Kingston, New Malden fountain, Raynes park) are in between the two normal destinations

Does this mean the driver has to manually change the side blind destination? (unless the buses were ordered before TfL's side blind rule).

Apparently TA201-203 have moved within RATP group to Bournemouth (along with at least one VA)

Double post but it appears that the DPK6** pair have been cascaded to the K4 route - it appears that a seldom few of the SDEs from TV have been out in service recently. Wonder why?

That's a bit of a strange one though - they're not looking too bad but there are still a plethora of DPS stock that are number 570+ that are unrefurb and not repainted.

I see the 110 is moving back to FW from AV. It must be the best part of 20 years since they operated the route. Presumably it is to make room for the longer length Citaro's on the 203 and perhaps means LU are confident of retaining the 120 which is due to be awarded soon?

I think 81 is also to awarded soon. Now that Omnicity's seem to be back on the London horizon (First's batch for the 207) I can seen any new buses needed by LU (also may need part new on 220) to be Omnicity's as opposed to LU going for a new model for such small potential orders.
