I still cant call if the 371 will be DD or SDs. Whilst existing DDs would probably be cheaper then new electric SDs if new buses are needed then it could still be cheaper to keep it SD. My observations have always been whilst the route does get hammered at school times (hence the DD workings) but outside that time the route does cope. I can see the 481 being won by LU with spare buses from the 283 and H22 cut. Residents might object to a full DD conversion of the 371. IIRC there were complaints when DDs started running along the full route (they had previously only run between Ham and Richmond). For a while I think there was a ban on allocating DDs except on the specified DD workings, but this seems to have been quietly dropped. Of course I don't know whether those objections would be enough to prevent the route going DD. I do not understand why people don't like DD's running down their street, people would need to have some incredible eyesight to see through curtains and all the objects that need to be seen to see through the window . Even if a bus is idle, I would doubt many people would look in windows even if they could. If anything, DD's are much better, especially at this time, more people can fit on one bus, the 371 certainly can take it, and it's cleaner air (if it goes to electric DD operation)- to me, that's a win-win!

There may be other factors involved such as the weight of double deckers. Realistically, how many single decker routes will that actually effect? Very few I'd imagine and even then, it could be a similar case to Gloucester Avenue in Camden Town where there is a 5 ton restriction yet it doesn't apply to buses hence the 274 being able to use double deckers.

Iv been trying to work out the allocation of the 183. Whenever I see it it seems to have something different on it. How many of those VHRs are on it? Also does it have an allocation of frog faces or just SPs?

Are SP20/21 run from EB or HH (or perhaps a different garage)?

Are SP20/21 run from EB or HH (or perhaps a different garage)? They have Quality Line legal lettering so would assume that means EB

Few interesting things:
> 8118-20 have remained with RATP since the K1s new MMCs entered service. > The batches of E200s / E200 MMCs have started to further intermix. > SDE20302 has remained at TV
