I can confirm as an RATP employee and having checked with my manager, he’s happy for me to confirm the 117 will be getting the MCLs plus two DLEs MMCs surplus from the 283.

How will the tender work now for the 413. I'm guessing RATP can't cancel their bid now so if they win the route it transfers on their winning bid terms and it novated across. For all we know RATP has been working on the closure of EB for a while and chose not to submit a bid for the 413 which is how they were able to win the 117. But otherwise I guess it would novate before the contract started. Yes I would imagine RATP wouldn't have bid for the 413 knowing that Epsom would be closing but then again they did bid for the 463.

Presumably the 14 reg at EB are destined for the 697? The other two could go to the 696, if retained of course. There's 5 14reg ADEs in the RATP fleet. So 3 for the 697 and 2 for the 696. Which would be a perfect fit for the two school routes at AV to replace the SPs.

Thinking about it, when doing my pre-service check it had no o'licence so I may have been the first to drive it after it's transfer into V.

The use of VH45108 (which should really be in the refurb queue prior to its move to Wandsworth) is due to dire state of the 60reg and 62reg ADH
From what I can gather of the 49 buses 1 is withdrawn 3 are officially VOR but missing parts 10 are out of service requiring work
So only 35 (less than 75%) are usable currently (and that assumes others don’t become defective)
If I was the engineering manager I would be pushing for 5-7 withdrawals, so parts could be used to keep remainder of fleet operational, but I suppose with all the pending route gains that would leave a shortfall of hybrids (although in practical terms bigger shortfall currently), so might need to source replacements
Be interesting so see what happens here, will money be spent getting parts to revive all dead ones, or will some be authorised to die

The most plausible explanation is that with additional buses in the fleet, they are all being worked through to ensure that when the number of spare buses reduces dramatically, they are all in a good state. From what I can see, there are many vehicles in the refurb line at the moment, so maybe 45108 will join them when the refurbished ones join back in to the fleet. Three or four weeks?
