Quality Line have confirmed they are buying 15 new buses for 465 and X26 Doesn't specify type (one existing versa is moving to 465) www.epsomcoaches.com/index.php/quality-line-secure-new-contractsAlso says buses for 406 will be refurbished (but not clear if this includes those for 418 although they are used as common fleet) as 418 contract had 2 year extension rather than renewal Generally it would be the number of buses scheduled for the 406 that would be refurbished, as the cost of refurbishing the 418 allocation would not have been covered and would be a waste if the route was lost in two years. Likely they will still be mixed in practice. |

common fleet alloaction do not usually all get refurbed.I remember the small batch of DWs for the 59 were refurbed yet in practice were as much on the 137.
As for the 406/418 I would expect the 2 buses for the 467 to also be on the 406/418.

Just had a ride on DD12.
Identical to DD01-DD10, obviously except top deck iBus screen in place of stopping sign (as on older Enviro400s, tends to be just in front of stairwell).
Fantastic ride, good work QL.

Any idea what 1-10 are on? Sounded like it had one speed higher.

Rygr afaik voith only comes in 3 or 4 speed.

Citaros cost about £50K more than E200s or Versas, so I very much doubt if they'd have won the 465 if they'd based their bid on them. |

Had a general look about and it seems that most of the PH stock for LU is currently being held at FW.
Few questions;
Why did LU originally sell off about 10 51 reg DPS? I think one went to Baines driving school (surprisingly drove past it today, parked up in Heston). One also went to Sullivans for Thorpe Park Express. Surely they could have displaced a few of the many V reg pointers at TV?
What stock was used on the H91 before double decking, and where has it gone?
Any news on NC? It seems a shack with only 4 spares on a mid Saturday afternoon - surely the 419 could operate out of Stamford Brook or Shepards Bush, with 33 out of Fulwell? Total waste of space!
I also see the ex NC pointer stock at HH has been started to be refurbished. Look fantastic!
