This comes up time and time again. Why would they spend money refurbishing them just to get rid of TT moquette? buses are nearly always only refurbished for tender renewals. one exception to this are the TEs allocated to the 92 as Metroline only started refurbishing them in 2020 when they were more than halfway through their contract. Metroline didn’t spend money just to get rid of the First interior - specified as part of the 92’s renewal was to refurbish the TE’s which they did so it’s not an exception

Will they get withdrawn? They could be reused elsewhere within the Metroline fleet to get rid of the older buses in there fleet.

Oh no 🙈 but they’ve just been refurbished and repainted. I thought that they couldn’t be withdrawn after they’ve been refurbished and repainted. That’s a shame they could have gone to EW to withdraw the 59 reg TEs on the 107 and 240 or UX to withdrawn the ex Forts 09 reg TEs on the U3 and U4 or stayed at G to convert the 95 or replace the 13 reg Metroline Travel TEs on the E9 and the Metroline Travel 13 reg TEs elsewhere.

Makes sense to prioritise owned buses over leased ones - operators don't always choose to remove the oldest buses first

Yes, and a good comparison can be made using the aerial view on Google Maps. - As you're aware BT is shared with Metroline (EW) - SO is compact - X is a 'double'decker' garage with open parking on the roof that's visible from the Elizabeth Line (Ealing Bdy to Paddington) - on the Google Maps picture there are no fewer than 54 buses on the roof at X

Nor is it a roof, it's more so just a suspended elevation.

Once more electric routes become established across the various RATP garages, do you think it's likely we'll see some of the OMEs ending up at garages like BT as they get shuffled about, and some of the BCEs ending up at X in their place?
