MCM30084 and 91 are playing follow the leader on 117. On a Sunday. With no traffic of note in the area. Not long after I posted this…St Johns Road closed! Now they actually have a reason haha.

I quick question if ratp lose the 125 when it's up tender would there be enough electric vehicle to convert both 79 and 340 to electric If by some luck they do lose the route, quite a few of them will be needed elsewhere. The 65 and 281 both need at least 2 extra buses each, and the 183 needs 2 extra buses so the 295's ones can return to X. That all means roughly 13 buses would remain, which could potentially be used for an existing electric bid on the 79, although I think there might be an issue with BCEs on the 79 so I doubt they would be used.

With atleast 4 extra needed for the 65 and 281 I wonder now if a small ME allocation might be sent to FW with maybe 3 Optare chargers installed and say 6 buses moved across to work the 281, in turn releasing BCEs to the 65 and 183 (295). I know iv always been the first to say that the Metrodeckers won't leave X but it may not be desired to keep taking BCEs off the 295.

I mean it's never desirable to take something away from its original allocation but even if 452 was to fully converts to OME. There will still be some spares left which 295 could use on a more permanent basis or atleast until they sort out all the other issues.

I know iv always been the first to say that the Metrodeckers won't leave X but it may not be desired to keep taking BCEs off the 295. There's certainly nowhere else where RATP could find existing electrics other than (indirectly) from the 28. With the OMEs being a non-standard type (and possibly using a different type of charger), I definitely can't see them leaving X, and considering the numbers they would exactly cover the full 295 allocation if more BCEs need to be released (assuming it is still compliant for the 295 to use electrics that are 1-2 years older). FW could need quite a few BCEs - 2 for the 281, plus the 65's PVR recently went up by 3 without anything moving into FW (I assume a small number of hybrids are covering for now)? The 371's PVR is also going up by 1, and while the current allocation may be enough, RATP might want an extra spare. So potentially 6 BCEs needed, and the 295 is already 2 down from the original batch (gone to SO for the Superloop), so that could leave only 13 of the 72reg BCEs at X. Which isn't enough for the 452 either, so I wonder if they might be reserved for an upcoming tender award, such as the 258? Or a mixed new & existing bid on the 18, releasing VHs to the 258 or 266?

I think 2 VHs moved in for the 65 increase, 45189/90.
VH45161 has also remained at FW from the 481 allocation rather than joining that batch at V for the E3 conversion.

As I'm currently writing this there's a 40 minute gap on the 125.

H98 maybe reviving LTs sooner or later from the 211 after it goes to QB. Those LT6xx may also be off for refurbs as soon as they finish the 211 contract - have rode them on the 211 a couple of times and they look really tired.
